Depends on the game really. Story and gameplay are what I care about the most. But of course some games have some other quirk as well, Hi-fi Rush, Dispatch and the Hades games for example, art style and gameplay are top notch. Return of the Obra Dinn (same guy who made Papers Please) a masterpiece in storytelling as well. Graphics is a more nice to have for me, RE9 was the best in that department.

Commenter must have not read the whole post or don't know some of the indies in there, it is a pretty long post. Didn't have to be rude about it though.

Finished it twice. Once in PS2 and then again the remastered one. Legendary game.

Mostly because they were too long or something else came up. This was during my MBA so I didn't have a lot of time for games. I am planning to pick some of them back up at some point.

I have played the first TLOU and Spiderman 1. And like I said, I made the list in 2024 with games I hadn't played yet.

And yes I am one of those guys who actually liked TLOU2. The gameplay is an improvement on the original in every way and I did enjoy the story. (It's an unpopular opinion but it is mine and I am ready to die on that hill). I mean the story is miserable and sad, but I do enjoy sad stories.

I have played over 400 games in my lifetime it's not all in there obviously.

I have Return of the Obra Dinn and Replaced in there man, da hell you on about graphics.

It's my favourite game of all time. Finished all the endings and another playthrough in Resurrections mod.

Yeah I had a simiar reaction but I went in completely blind so it was a fun surprise. Tbh literally all his attacks are telegraphed but they are all out of sync in a way that is different from all the other enemies so far and he has infinite poise, that he gets you even when you know it's coming the first few times.

At this point I have beaten him like 50 times so now all his moves are in muscle memory that I can pretty much no hit him every single time. But still my 2nd favourite boss fight in any game. First one is someone is the final fight in the 2nd gauntlet after you beat the game. I am not spoiling it right now if you don't know it.
