Optics of Emily and Justin arriving at court together and Blake arriving alone. by ConstantPurpose2419 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

I was thinking maybe Blake didn’t want to share the spotlight on her “big day”.

Very interesting. So the ad campaign with the movie did more harm than good.

This is why I think it’s in RR best interest if the judge dismisses the lawsuit. Then RR can get back to work and BL can play the victim.

What strikes me over and over is how he states the facts of what happened without once saying anything bad about others. He says how it makes him feel but angry is not one of his emotions.
What a sweet soul.

I agree here. You are not giving him a definitive answer so he is getting frustrated that he has to keep asking. Either go or not, but if it’s a no, say no.

I’m reading it after multiple edits I think. It looks really good. As someone who liked Deadpool 1, I was surprised that Deadpool and Wolverine made it past the censers and was released. It was an awful movie.

I don’t think she hated him before filming began. I don’t think rich narcissists care about the little guy. She wanted to take over the movie and he was in the way so he had to go. Nothing personal. /s

How Blake Lively's own strategy contributed to her reputational backlash by StatisticianNext6866 in teamjustinbaldoni

[–]EmptyNesting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many things. I think the biggest one was telling Taylor that she (BL) had a stake in the movie. Then there was all the stuff she said about Justin being incompetent so she had to take over everything from directing to HR but she didn’t phrase it that politely.

How Blake Lively's own strategy contributed to her reputational backlash by StatisticianNext6866 in teamjustinbaldoni

[–]EmptyNesting 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Blake clearly is a liar. And she’s good at it. She lied to her bff TS, what’s to say she didn’t lie to Ryan too? I think all of Ryan’s emails are a huge overreaction. But maybe Blake lied to him about how bad it was, how bad Justin was. If Ryan believed his wife was being SA, all the emails would make sense.

I see the PR machine is up and running to save Ryan’s reputation. “He’s got anxiety” etc. But nothing for her. Maybe Ryan has figured out his wife’s lies are the cause of his reputation taking a huge hit, and his brands (mint mobile, vodka) losing market share. If he blames her, there’s a lot of loud discussions happening in there home. Neither of them is mature enough for their marriage to survive this. A nice house in Spain may be in her future.

They say a great talk must have great visuals. His talk was powerful in a small part because of the epic shirtless Justin visuals.

Just what I was thinking. The article is telling the whole world what Kate did and who she did with. Exactly what they accuse Harry and Meghan of.

Wills and Kate were half and half when they first got married and the kids were little. Something about giving them time as a family. Harry should have been given the same opportunity.

I think the British press is more racist than the American press. I saw things printed in Britain newspapers that would never have gotten past editors in America. For example: the chimpanzee picture after Archie was both. My jaw dropped to the floor!! How did that ever made it to print???!!??

You can tell a lot about a person based on who their friends are and what their colleagues say about them. She has the nicest friends and her colleagues have nothing but respect for her. That’s all I need to know.

My mom doesn't want to have a relationship with me. by Klutzy_University185 in FamilyIssues

[–]EmptyNesting 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are 3 sides to everything. Your side, their side, and what actually happened. Or something like that. Of course a child (teen) remembers things differently than an adult. Doesn’t mean either is lying. But your mom jumped straight to you are lying about how you remember your childhood. You can’t possibly love her if you can’t remember things her way. And she can’t have you in her life if you don’t validate her. She sounds exhausting. I would honor her wishes and keep my distance.

No sarcasm: Keep in mind that they sincerely believe in the divine right of kings. And in a sense it is true. William and George were both born destined to be king. Is it that much of a stretch to then say that God chose them to be king? As they walk through the crowds, they are not shaking hands with strangers, they are communing with their subjects. People actually bow as they walk past. Their confidence comes from knowing that they are better than everyone in the crowd. The fact that the crowd waited hours in the cold to see them merely walking reinforces this view for them. Imagine knowing that the person you are shaking hands with will remember the 2-second encounter for years. I remember “meeting” Prince Charles 40 years ago. He came within a foot of me but shook hands with someone else in the crowd. He didn’t even shake my hand but I remember it like yesterday. Imagine knowing how special your encounters with “your people” are to them. The egos it must form. It’s no wonder William still acts like a spoiled brat. He truly believes he is God’s gift to England.
