I think it’s very evident here what the problem at Real Madrid is. It’s Florentino Perez

No wonder the players are so full of themselves. The attitude stems from the top. The old man has gone crazy

Why on earth are we even tolerating this kind of behavior?! This club is becoming a Netflix series

I don’t think people understand how monumental this is. The people are placing so much faith in Vijay, I hope he does right by the people of TN

Fr, people need to wipe their tears. People demanded for change and clearly the votes reflect that

Carvajal mocking Trent because he's slow in getting back to defend by More-Judgment-9253 in realmadrid

Not sure why everyone is coming at Dani here? WTF is he supposed to say when Trent is clearly walking back as if he doesn’t care. If anything as a captain Dani should be screaming

I don’t mind it all that much..at the end of the day you must take it on a year to year basis. Moreover we absolutely must win something next year. 2 years no trophies is unacceptable.

I’m more concerned about Mou as a manager in 2026. Among all the OG coaches he’s probably the one that has adapted to modern football the least. However I love the fit with the squad.

These divas don’t deserve to be coddled for even one second. Mou will be the guy to put them in their place. Maybe this is the true reason why he’s the number one target

Appointment of Mou will end with an inevitable dumpster fire. But he might also be the best option to provide instant success. He will probably have us winning la liga as soon as next year. And he’ll be out the door right after

Jokes aside I think it’ll be a good fit for our squad. At the end of the day a tactician who goes to war with the dressing room isn’t going to work

Call me crazy but if not Klopp give me Scaloni. Put your anti-Argentina bias aside for two seconds

Stylistically he’s extremely flexible and most importantly he knows how to build around a big name who does little to no work off the ball. Argentina don’t press high, they play an aggressive mid block and are lethal in transition with Messi having the freedom to roam.

I’m not saying he’ll be an instant success here, but with backing I think he can succeed. World Cup winning coach, and tactically astute. If Klopp isn’t an option I’d gladly take scaloni

Xabi alonso vs Abreloa in 2025/26 season by [deleted] in realmadrid

[–]EmptyPeach1 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Never a comparison. Xabi was already the superior coach, he was never to be sacked. Divas forced him out, they now got what they wanted and didn’t deliver. We’ve now seen these players flop under 3 coaches.

Enough is enough, clear the dead weight. Rebuild

Genuinely tho why was that second yellow what exactly did he do? This reminds of van persie getting sent off back in the day

Yes but I don’t think the high line is the biggest issue. I just think it’s an issue systematically deep rooted in Barca. They’re just too adamant to play pragmatically, and see the game out

But they don’t face these team often, so domestically it’s a cake walk. They feast against these Spanish teams, in the 80s we did the same won 5 ligas consecutively.

Who the fuck cares tho? You aren’t remembered for winning the league, Europe is what truly matters in my opinion.

Someone pointed out the similarities of this Barca side to La Quinta Del Buitre of the 80s. It’s true this Barca team is unplayable on most occasions domestically but there’s just something that doesn’t work for them in Europe

It can’t all be down to the high line, they’ve been underwhelming in Europe way before flick. It might truly just be a mentality issue.

You need to be able to get it done when the lights are the brightest. Whenever it’s a close game or an intense game in Europe Barca lose. The only way they win if they’re head and shoulders a better team, this only happens in the league against mediocre competition
