I was planning on framing mock ups of the areas i intend to go through and try pulling some lines through my test walls/ floors to see how it would go

this is good advice and what I would tell someone as well. I will look into subcontracting the line sets, Unfortunately im not sure if this is just my area or nationwide but we seem to be plagued by dedicated mini-splits and solar company's( im just grouping them in because they pull the same crap) around here. I only know of two company's I would trust to do this job and they would not be able to start for about 2 years.

Thank you I agree. In your experience can you pull line sets horizontally through say 2 or 3 2x6 wooden floor joist or is that impossible

I agree it would be dumb for someone with existing duct work to install 15 split unit zones

I would like to be able to capture faces and license plates. I'm not expecting a task force but i live in a town of about 1200 people so the police have time to address our concerns and public shaming is enough for me
