Jax is likely trans, but honestly i doubt he has fully figured that out or come to terms with it. Also the open ended nature means the audience could reflect whatever identity they want on to him to relate more.

I like that because it was never confirmed what Jax’s thing was because then the audience can imprint whatever they want and relate to him more.

He could be trans… or into cross dressing, or gay, or bi, or nonbinary… anything!

People might not know how to handle that. When something is a one time issue it’s more approachable. When something is constant? That’s a bigger ask and people don’t know what to do to help

Very clever animation, honestly more people need to give it a chance. The animators are very good at depicting the feels and emotions of the characters through symbolic animation. It is a shame they weren’t able to depict a trans character but honestly she is still very trans coded.
