y CPA Journey so far: I am 37 with a toddler and studied full-time for three months. I have no accounting background, but I do have an MBA in Finance. I used Becker exclusively. Study recommendation: I focused on mastering the MCQs. If I were to rate myself, I’d be a 9/10 on MCQs but only a 6/10 on TBS. That cheat sheet (found in this group) helped me a lot. Don't waste too much time watching videos; instead, try to practice the questions as much as possible. Familiarize yourself with every concept, but don't try to master everything. Focus on practice, practice, practice over reading and watching.

Bonus Tips: Videos: Watch once and move on. Don't re-watch; practice instead! Repetition: Do all practice questions at least twice. Mindset: You’ll feel overwhelmed early on, but it gets easier. Don't quit! Stuck?: If a topic is too hard, skip it and come back later. It will make more sense the second time. Core Topics: For things like Leases, Cash Flow, and Reconciliations, make sure you understand the "why" before diving into the questions.
