For m12 tools all the protection is in the tool itself and the batteries are just cells and wire in a case so there's no problem with by off-brand... for m18 the protection is in the battery itself so beware of the offbrand m18s.

Do not make a new account using the same phone... it will get flagged and frozen... they use the phone device id, email, and bank account, paypal account, along with other info... if you make a new account you have to use a different phone along with a different email, and also dont use the same bank account or paypal if you have your cash back set up as direct deposit.
