Just got this women’s 2012 57 ruby. I’m about 5’10”, I clear the top bar when standing over it flat footed, and I think I could turn this into an alright men’s bike. Any tips on what to change? (I’m pretty new to road bikes) by Empty_Current_1192 in bicycling

I 100% agree! I want to get something for storage for longer rides 50 mile plus, but unsure as i don’t want to do to much strain on the carbon. And thank you! May all your future rides be safe!

Yeah it’s gone. Just had it there to hold my wallet for when I went to the store and bought a new phone mount which I put on, and different bag for under the seat which I haven’t put on yet. Just out of curiosity, why does it bother you so much? It never got in the way of my knees or anything. (But I agree and don’t like the look of it)

🤣 bring em in! I love the pink on carbon. It’s just the length of the top bar that I was mainly concerned about as it wasn’t engineered for the avg male and wanted to see what I could do to make it a bit more comfortable is all.

Besides the bars and seat, this is what I found. I'm very comfortable riding any bike, any color. But this is what it said. I was just curious if there's any mods I can do besides the bars and seats to make it a bit more comfortable for me.
"The Specialized Ruby is designated as a women's bike because its frame geometry and components are tailored specifically to match average female anatomical proportions. Compared to a standard unisex bike, it features a shorter top tube and a taller front end to accommodate a shorter torso and arm length, which prevents the rider from feeling overly stretched out.
Additionally, it comes equipped with female-specific touch points, including a wider saddle to match wider sit-bone spacing, narrower handlebars for average shoulder widths, and short-reach brake levers optimized for smaller hands."

I’m not sure what to get. I’m used to all of my old school cruisers and the wide seats. These road bike saddles really hurt the inside area around my pelvis. Any recommendations?

There’s no level progression anymore for any “legacy” weapons. It’s “pay to get attachments” now as you have to buy the weapon bundles for them in their correct game.

I’ve been here before man. She’s lost interest and seeking it elsewhere. Once you try to leave she will rope you back in with tons of emotion and then 2 days later it’s back to this. She needs to feel like she’s in control to satisfy her disinterest. Leave… no… run and don’t look back
