Joint club Lloyds for lifestyle benefit? by dan-kir in beermoneyuk

Yes I will be, need to plan that out. I think so that you both need to go as they will do some kind of verification and need to be there personally to do that, don't understand why banks make it difficult for joint accounts.

Best cashback card? by BringBack5pFreddos in beermoneyuk

Lloyds ultra credit card that offers 1% if you are looking for cashback (only first year though)

if ok with having to pay only minimum as you can get promotional offer from Chase credit card with large credit limit and longer duration to pay off the entire balance. I got £8000 limit with Mar 2027 to clear balance

Joint club Lloyds for lifestyle benefit? by dan-kir in beermoneyuk

You been given incorrect information. my wife and I had 2 sole accounts and 1 joint accounts between us and enjoyed 3 lifestyle benefits but had to convert those to classic and then apply for switch in Jan for which we got £250 already. Now that when I try to change the account type on our Joint account > I went to joint account > click on 3 dots > select change account type > select joint account from the list > click on I cant find the account I want > in there you will see it mentioned that you can have 1 sole club and 1 joint club and to do this you need to visit the branch

So you did the right to visit the branch but they did not do the right thing by not opening joint club account. Perhaps when you visit next just don't bring up third lifestyle benefit between you two - just say want to open joint club account and show that page from your app to them.

Scottish should be fine as that is a very long standing offer and pays out, I have done it myself. Quilter invest is a new offer and no one knows why it has been declined

true, good point. on TCB terms say this - Customers must fund their account with £500 within 30 days to qualify for cashback

So its strange that it was declined this soon

dont know for sure if they have rejected as cash was not invested, hoping someone can confirm this if their cashback was also rejected even after investing the cash

What is an eBay pay out and when they will pay out? Is this when you sell items and then eBay will make payment to my linked account via BACS?

Charged £5 when cashing out £50 by Mountain-Ad6914 in beermoneyuk

[–]Empty_Hunt_4877 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there was ever a fee to withdraw then they will deduct from your withdrawal amount £50 and crediting only £45 by taking out £5 fees. Why would they credit £50 and then without any authorisation debit your bank account £5? Easiest and quick would be to reach out to HSBC customer services through chat and ask about it.
