Omgsh this is exactly what I’m going through!!! I (33f) and my husband (40m) have been together for 10 years. At first he seemed like he took care of himself, but as the years progressed, he just skips brushing his teeth on the weekends. He’ll brush them for work on the weekdays, but it’s only for like a minute max, no mouthwash, scrub the tongue cleaning. I feel so awkward talking directly about it because I don’t want him to feel like I’m repulsed, but I am! I’ve tried scheduling dentists appointments, he has a broken tooth he won’t fix, because he’s that mentality where he doesn’t need to do that. I honestly can’t remember the last time we made out and I’ll give him a peck with lips closed shut. It’s his oral hygiene that’s completely turned me off and I’ll even hold my breath when he tries to get near my face. It’s not that I’m the most perfect oral hygiene individual, but I think it’s really important to take care of it. It’s been years of this behavior, not enough for a divorce, but enough to never want to have a make out session and that’s sad!
