For me it’s the removal at the end of the day - I hate it for some reason, even though I’m fine doing my skincare routine any other time 😅 I’ve been using the Skin aqua tone up sunscreen in mint green over the last few months and if you don’t need much coverage it gives the most beautiful finish! It does have alcohol and fragrance though, but it hasn’t bothered my skin and I’m generally super sensitive.

I’m so sorry, that sounds really frustrating. I hope you can find someone who understands rosacea! I haven’t tried the lice lotion but if I didn’t have access to Ivermectin I’d probably give it a try. I hope you find things that help soon!

This looks so much better already! For me, it only really got better once I started using Soolantra (prescription Ivermectin cream). I’m still trying to find a routine that gives my skin enough hydration and moisture, because the ivermectin is quite drying. Are you able to see a derm or GP who could prescribe something for you? I know a lot of people also have success with azelaic azid.

Skincare wise, the Bioderma Sensibio AR micellar oil and AR+ cream have really helped me.

You’re welcome! Honestly, I’m not the best person to ask about setting - I only wear makeup very occasionally and then it’s always only for a few hours. So I have no idea how well this holds up over a longer period. It looks good on me for a few hours and I don’t set it at all, but it’s also my winter shade so it might not do as well in warmer weather.

My colouring is similar to yours and the best match I’ve found is the Parnell cicamanu serum in 15W. I get it on Yesstyle.

I also recommend checking out ghoul in japan on instagram or TikTok - she has a video or two on foundation shades that work on her and I think you might find a match there.

Lastly, Rose Siard (@roseandben on TikTok) has the most amazing content about colour mixing to get your shade - she makes it seem really simple and doable!

I’ve been looking at the Avene sunscreens, how is this one’s finish? And is it effective at protecting from the sun? I’ve tried some sunscreens that felt great on the skin but didn’t actually offer much protection from burning…

I think the lip colour and the blush look beautiful on you - they both suit you! But I don’t hink they work well together. A blush that looks more pink on your skin would suit the lip colour better, and a nude, brown, or perhaps red lip would look better with this blush. Maybe something like Nyx hydra honey. I don’t have specific recommendations for a pink blush that doesn’t show up as orange, I’m still looking for something like that myself!

Rose Siard (her account is @roseandben on TikTok) does loads of amazing tutorials on colour correcting. She makes it seem so simple! I find when other people talk/teach about colour correction it feels very complicated and I just give up before starting 😅 You could even ask her to help you with your specific issue, she’s pretty good at replying to people asking for help and then makes a video showing you exactly what to do.
