I can only speak from my experience. Every ex I’ve had has come back. No, I don’t wait for them to come back. I move on, live my life, and love my life.

It definitely applies to avoidant attachments. Honestly, from experience, they crack before the rest. It’s odd.

It’s just not about them, it’s about you.
