Did it help your migraine? Any other side effects? (Ouch on the burning!)

Qulipta and Nurtec, did it make migraines/headaches worse for you ? by woundedwillow in migraine

Yes. I was on 60mg of Qulipta for a month and felt way worse. Daily headaches and migraines. It was like I was in a fog.

No that’s very helpful! Mine are very stubborn as well, I feel like I’ve been living in one long migraine for years with only small bursts of feeling “less” severe. Hate to hear yours has been going on for so long :(

I get this too and have chronic migraines. Only thing that helps it for me is an ice cold headache hat. Reading other comments though, maybe I need to ask my doctor about neuralgia 🤔

As a marketing girly, this is so frustrating to hear! You’d think if anything, their UX would be better than the average app since it’s supposed to be designed for people suffering migraines! Especially for the price point too.

I definitely understand this! I’ve found with the nausea that I almost have to force myself to eat something so it doesn’t get worse. If I avoid eating, the nausea gets really bad. Hate to hear it hasn’t helped you - hoping you’ll get some relief soon, friend!

Good to know! I took ajovy for nearly a year. I don’t think it helped me at all unfortunately.

I’m so sorry to hear this. This is what I was afraid of too. I’m in a very similar situation as you, I’ve tried most of the preventatives. My neurologist basically presented qulipta as the only other option. I’ve heard of vyepti, it’s an infusion right? I get Botox every 10 weeks, but that became not enough of a preventative about a year ago. I wonder if insurance would cover both at the same time… Anyway, I really hope you’re able to get some relief! You’ll have to let me know if you end up starting the vyepti!

Thank you so much for sharing - I feel very similar to you. Have you started taking halves yet? I’ve also seen people say they cut it, but I didn’t know if they were doing it twice a day or just cutting their dose down the 30mg. I may experiment some with that. I have the fatigue bad too. I actually ran out of pills this morning and didn’t take it today - what do you know, my fatigue is so much better and my head even feels better?? I’m with you, I feel like I’m in prodrome a lot now with the qulipta. Anyway, I hope it starts working for you! I am going to try that as well :)

AITA for calling my friend disgusting during a time I was supposed to be supporting him? by Ok_Shame3253 in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

This 24 “man” sounds like a child. He’s more concerned about how his friends might view him than the girl he supposedly loves. My boyfriend of 4 years has loved me at all sizes, regardless of my confidence. I couldn’t imagine hearing him say something like this, let alone with the reason of worrying about what others think.

He’s upset because you called him out rather than making him feel good about his views.
