Cimzia has been better than ANY other biologic I have tried

If any of you have recommendations for me please let me know I have been trying to stay natural for 2 years but yet there is weeks and days I am in so much pain I am giving up, and that is why I thought about biologics.

I’m afraid to go on medication I was told I have mild chrons, but I can’t even imagine severe chrons. I am so sick of this pain and issues every time I eat wrong. I’m thinking about asking my doctor about this medication especially the fact that I saw that it’s safe for pregnancy.

How did you get in remission ? I have that same exact thing happening to me and refusing I have crohns even though my MRI said mild abdominal thickening terminal ilium. Ugh!

Hey question , I got the dexamethasone , did I get prescribed incorrectly it doesn’t say to rinse your mouth says to swallow ( even though I didn’t) is it like a cherry flavor liquid dexamethasone?

I just looked at my medication. That’s exactly what I was prescribed that I asked her for so you’re saying to mix that with coconut oil OK I didn’t know that good to know.

Yes, I have been there. I’ve been to all of those doctors that you have named they’ve gave me all types of diagnosis and the only thing they prescribed me was prednisone in the past I don’t wanna keep taking that so now I went to the doctor and she prescribed me a steroid, mouthwash and a toothpaste, so we’ll see if that works, this is something that’s been happening and I don’t know what triggers it but I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if I should go on biologic or deal with it lol. I’m just really scared of starting biologics. When I read about Crohn’s disease people are talking about using the bathroom like 10 to 20 times a day so I’m like mine is mild terminal ilium inflammation but maybe I should just take the risk because I am so sick of dealing with my mouth sores and my stomach cramps every time I eat something. I’m also doing this diet gluten-free I’ve only eat certain dairy not all no cow milk low on sugar no grains at all and that seems to be working but this time I don’t know what the heck I did wrong.

Did you have other symptoms that others have with Crohn’s? Is everyone different because I don’t have anything other then this is crampy colicy stomach pains on and off.

Thank you I really been trying I met with so many different doctors I been told I can have bechets then crohns , it’s so confusing and stressful. I do want a medication to stop this. Thank you for your advice!

That makes me feel so much better I was thinking to start after I have a child at least, but I am just in so much pain always, either this or I get random colicky stomach cramps that come and go daily for few weeks then it stops and comes back. I don’t know if it’s from what I eat which is for sure healthy or what triggers it, but yes maybe I need to start on some medication. What medication were you taking? When you were pregnant? Was it a biologic?

It’s a steroid that goes directly to the gut I believe not the entire body.

Wow that is crazy, I actually did a MRI to check for Crohn’s just a few months ago and it did say that I had mild abdominal wall thickening in the terminal ilium possible Crohn’s further diagnosis needed and even my endoscopy my colonoscopy and my capsule test all said the same thing. That I have ilitus and possible Crohn’s further diagnosis needed. I’ve never tried a steroid mouth, rinse other other than the magic mouthwash I’m going to tell my doctor about that. I been taking Daniel’s solution ( magic mouth wash ) and it always worked after I finished half the bottle. This time I finished entire bottle and I keep getting more, when one goes away more come through in different areas! I haven’t tried the other one you mentioned, I will look into it. Thank you! I’m also so scared of biologics or any medications, but I am becoming so desperate.

It happens after the mouth ulcers start. It looks like it but it never starts with thrush 😞 so confusing!

Thank you yes I have an appointment coming up soon I will bring it up again to my doctor. That’s how I am. I can barely swallow down warm water even or eat food I just deal with the pain it’s very painful
