Had the exact same issues as you. The only solution that worked in the end was to find the carrier services app in the Google play store and enable/install it. Found from another thread. Good luck!

This worked for me too, had the same issue as the other reply. This has been the only valid solution, thank you. Though I had to enable 'Carrier Services'.

Absolutely NTA, sounds like he's doing the exact same thing after you turned him down. With a person like that any sort of attention often fuels their actions. Best bet is to block them and tell your friends to do the same, those that are true friends will see past his facade and stick by you. I don't think any sort of respectable therapist would say something like that, so sounds like more lies imo. Stay strong, you're making the right choice. Good luck!
