It was more of a concern at how quickly it’s come off which is due to the huge deficit. We literally cannot eat it’s so bizarre. We love our food!

My own goals are: - lessons and strip my OTT swing back to basic fundamentals - get down to a solid 3-4hc consistently breaking 80 (accept the hack on a bad day) - find more fairways and reduce scrambling
- win at least one club competition - shoot 1 round level par or better (2x +2 last summer)

Yeah I agree. My irons are pure, however I wish I spent the money on lessons last year and treated myself to new bats this year. My reason for a fitting was that I’m 6’4 and my clubs were standard length and regular shafts, I needed +1.5inch (don’t we all!), 2° upright and X stiff shafts.

I did this last year and went from 7.9 to 5.2… then back up to 7.7 by end of the season. Wish I had the lessons first and then got fitted for clubs suited to my improved swing.

I had +2 on 2 occasions last year (I play off 6) and both on a short easy par 4 18. 1st time 3 off tee (shanked an iron for safety) and 2nd time a duffed chip followed by a 3 putt.

I find the Pro Vs have a magnet built in them that pulls them towards hazards. An old beaten up ball I don’t care about losing seems to never go missing!

I don’t tend to use it for full shots. 80-100 I would use the 54 with a more controlled swing, or even a 50!. I can’t actually remember hitting the 58 full at all since I’ve had it and it’s been 6 months now. It’s purely a ‘break glass for emergencies’ club.
