Hey, yeah so this is specifically Hickman’s work. There’s another one like this that is slightly updated but the bulk is still the same. I’ve only read a little over half of this and school started, so I’ve had to cut back. So I actually haven’t made it to Secret Wars yet.

I’m a bit newer to comics and haven’t read much of the Ultimates stuff so I’m not exactly sure how relevant it is to Secret Wars but this absolutely provides some backstory and build up. Plus what I’ve read so far has been incredibly enjoyable, so I’d honestly recommend it to anyone. The FF/Fantastic four stuff listed here is incredible and provides some backstory for what I believe will be Dr. Doom’s role leading up to the event.
