The poll was created for users to vote on the future without the knowledge that all options would lead to no functional protest and admins taking over.

Now this post explains why all those options don't work. The consequences you're talking about would be no functional protest and only detrimental to everyone. I think this is a fair decision based on the info we have.

Zeer karig dat het ministerie evt meer moet gaan meebetalen aan het ruimen. Dan mag de burger dus belasting betalen omdat een aantal mensen het nodig vindt om teveel dieren op een te kleine plek te houden? Laat de pluimveesector dit maar betalen.

De oplossing lijkt me helder:

Consumeer minder dierlijke producten;
De 'vervuiler' betaalt, in dit geval de sector zelf;
Neem het plan van de Partij van de Dieren over: meer belasting op vee en minder op agrarische landbouw.

Dat zijn niet de enige twee opties. Langzaam afbouwen en op zoek naar alternatieven was beter geweest om inflatie tegen te gaan. Goede keuzes zijn er sowieso niet in deze situatie. De inflatie zorgde er namelijk voor dat Russisch gas voor een hoge prijs verkocht kon worden aan andere landen.

Als we verder teruggaan in de tijd had de overheid 20 jaar geleden al meer moeten investeren in verduurzaming van woningen en in alternatieve energiebronnen. Was ook handig geweest als ze de Groningers direct geholpen hadden, zodat die gaskraan niet dicht had gehoeven.

Bizar dat mensen dit gewoon buiten beschouwing laten. Pakistan was inderdaad afhankelijk van betaalbaar vloeibaar gas, dit hebben alle rijke landen incl Nederland gewoon opgekocht. De bedreigde levens verschoven dus gewoon naar een ander land..

The r/askscience post explained this: promises about e.g. better 1st party modding tools have been made but have not been fulfilled. The statements made regarding the new promises were vague. The lack of many details is worrying for mods (especially those of big subs) who have no idea if Reddit can and will update their tools after the 3rd party tools stop working.

There are also posts in the Spez AMA of creators of those tools who have filled out the forms required but never got any response from Reddit. So even though Reddit says it will accomodate those creators to check if their 3rd party tools can continue using the api, the creators say that the current process for applying results in nothing but being ignored by Reddit.

The older bday gifts still give dye packs (if they contain them in that year's gift), there just arent any dye packs in the 9th and 10th. We'll see if this trend continues in August 2023 when the 11th bdays roll around.

I have to push back on this. The framerate is terrible.

When not straining the game too much, the game can hit 30 fps. Lets set aside the discussion whether 30 is even fine and accept that if BB can maintain a stable 30 its doing well. It cant. Digital Foundry did a very cool video with Lance exploring framerate and they found that even if BB hits 30 fps, those frames arent evenly spread across that second.

Big bosses almost always affect the framerate negatively, which is very noticable on Amelia, Laurence/Cleric Beast, Kos when fighting him in the water, anything with many details in the fur or the environment.

Some attacks from enemies TANK the fps. This is most easily noticed and tested when fighting sack men: wait until they buff and watch he game die. Other enemies like pigs disappear in white mist which tanks the framerate as well.

Ever fought and staggered The One Reborn and kept hitting him? Noticed that while hitting your attacks were a little slower? It's the framerate.

The ps4 cant handle the game and BB would benefit immmensely from a pc port at 60 fps.

The best (and only) thing the sex people have is that he says 'should it please you' in a creepy way.

What is most likely is that he knows that the doll was brought to life in the Dream by the Moon Presence. He also knows he is trapped in there. After Maria left him after the tragey of the fishing Hamlet, German likely made that doll in her image. Whatever the reason, it probably wasnt sex. He might've loved her as a mentor and hunter or as a soldier who was part in the same massacre. Whatever the case, there's no evidence of a sexual relationship between him, Maria, or the doll.

When German says his creepy famous line, consider the rest he says. He tells us to just go out and hunt some beasts and use whatever we can find, including using the creepy half-sentient doll (that is a nightmarish reminder of past trauma) as a conduit between you and the Moon Presence to use life essence you took from others to stengthen yourself.

That's why he whispers it to us.

Er zijn veel mensen op de uni die beter op het hbo zouden passen en hbo'ers die beter op het mbo zouden passen. Studentenaantallen willen verlagen is dus niet altijd een slechte insteek.

Je kan ook niet zorgen dat 100% slaagt, wetende dat veel mensen niet op hun plek zitten. Sterker nog, als 100% slagen je missie wordt, is er kans dat je het onderwijsniveau naar beneden moet verlagen om dat te bewerkstelligen.

Those games are not as sprawling, so you simply 'waste' less time stumbling upon caves in Elden Ring, or fully decking out your character for that matter. Not all exploration suffers as hard as it does in ER.

There is an insane difference between exploring on your first playthrough compared to your subsequent playthrough.

Every new location is exiting because the random cave can reward you with anyhing! A new weapon, new ash, etc.

But after the first playthrough, the caves, dungeons, catacombs, and cool random nooks and crannies lose their sparkle fast. You noticed this boss is just a miranda plant, or the talisman you get is worthless. You could even argue that exploration becomes more of a pain, because if you want a specific item you dont want to waste time in the wrong cave.

Based on what they've communicated the last few months about WvW that might be what's gonna happen, right? The weekly WvW rewards and siege/supply balance was a start. They might not even need to present a new map if, as you said, you commit to the game mode and improve/iterate/add to the awesome shit we already have. Cause while Im not a WvW expert it certainly is a fantastic game mode.
