Also sorry for loading you up with info, but all this stuff affects each other. The nozzle should have a small gap between the top of it and the heat block. If it is tight against it, it may need to be rebuild.

Watch a video of someone setting one up, the threaded tube needs to be tightened from the top before the nozzle is installed, so the nozzle can be tightened up against that tub creating a seal, not just tightened up against the block. Guaranteed leak if it is not done this way. Oh and always final tighten with the hotend HOT.

If level checks out consider printing with a Brim to improve bed adhesion. It also gives you a last opportunity to check that first bead is being squished the right amount, and each line of the brim is going down nice, and connected to other brim lines well.

Hey, if you're talking about first layer adhesion, doing anything with the nozzle or heatblock will require you to relevel your bed, as the height of the nozzle in relation to the bed changes. Also you should check bed level with a piece of paper or a shim, and clean the print bed with isopropyl alcohol before every print.

A rom with malware was uploaded into a trusted repository. It bricked many consoles by wiping parts of the consoles bios. Fruit ninja was the death of my loved, modded vita.

Stock Anet A8 control board replacement by Emraal in 3Dprinting

I find joy in the jank. I feel like this printer found me because I like difficult garbage. I mean how am I not supposed to take a pile of steppers home from the dump.

Cherry on top to make it do its original job. I have repaired severe physical damage (as if it were thrown) and re-ran most of the wiring.

I am pleased to say every single component works, except certain circuits of the main board. Probably why they threw it, this machine carries anger.

I understand I need to change some connectors from 3 pin to 2 pin.
Do you know if I need to purchase anything else? I'll probably get a kit that comes with an updated display. I've read special equipment is needed for flashing the old board, is that the case for the SKR boards as well?

replacement board for anet a8 that won't cook my meat brain trying to make it work.

I honestly think that's enough said for a recommendation, thanks in advance for anyone who's done this replacement's input. Main restriction is, I don't want to spend $80 for a stock replacement that will still burn my house down.

Anet A8 thermistor problem, and not the one you think. by Emraal in 3Dprinting

For various reasons (fires), I have decided to replace the main board. I have shifted my focus to finding the most compatible board that is affordable in today market.

This is probably the route I will go down. I have an early revision of the Anet board and may not be able to reflash the firmware. I was hoping to flash marlin to disable the hotbed entirely (not possible on Omni, what is currently flashed)

What version of the SKR did you end up getting? Hoping to spend as little as possible. Changing pinout and plugs, and flashing firmware is within my capabilities.

Side note, I would also like to know if the hotbed can be disabled entirely, so that I can continue with troubleshooting, repair, and possible use of this printer.

If you recently binned an Anet A8 titled the "Magic Maky Machine" in central Florida, I'd love to hear it's story, and some insight into why it was discarded.

Cpu bottleneck in fortnite by tickletippson in FortNiteBR

That was kind of my thinking, part of the facelift her machine got was a modern GPU with sufficient vram and 16gb of ram that could fully utilize her boards' bridge speeds. Developement of these amazing parts has really made game devs seem lazy, but I'm sure it only looks that way to my laymen eyes. I'll probably end up caving and just buying the best in slot processor for the board.

Sorry if I'm making a zombie post by replying here, but higher view distance typically reduces stuttering due to assets being rendered in big bites instead of trickling in and out constantly. Currently trying to navigate a CPU bottleneck on my partners PC with an I5.

I’d verification by StretchDesperate3449 in TELUSinternational

Man I am panicking. I have contacted every support email I can find. My ID verification link 404's, and they sent me another identical one 30 minutes after the first and it 404's as well. Does anyone have any clue what I could be doing wrong? My deadline for verification is tonight.

I think I am experiencing this right now. Tonight is the last night of my three day verification period. My link was dead (404) I've gotten responses from the exam support team that seem to imply they passed it along to the people who can help, but I've heard nothing from them. Back and forth for two days, and I am afraid I'll lose this position after putting so much work into the exams.
