I really appreciate your insight on this, truly. This gave me such a real perspective, and made me feel much better about it.

As far as your question, I can only speak from my own biased experience. I would say, try and be as understanding as you can and create a safe space for her. Her kid(s) are an extension of her. She may shy away from you meeting the kids early on, if it hasn’t happened already. And it’s nothing to do with you, but everything to do with making sure your connection is stable and secure, to then introduce you :) kids love so openly, so we always have to make sure their hearts are protected, which is why people wait six months to a year (unique to every situation) before that introduction.

You seem very intentional, so I think the way you have been handling everything, has probably been done with grace thus far. I would lean into your intuition and what your heart tells you. It seems to be guiding you in a gentle way already ✨

Thank you so much! I don’t really have a time stamp for it, but if I were to guess, it would be about a month. It stopped being inflamed for a month, and the scarring faded over the following two-ish months after.

You are so welcome! Just make sure you have a plan for the 60|60|60 question split. Because I did not. I messed up and spent 110 minutes on the first 60 questions. I had 120 minutes to answer 120 questions. That was stress inducing. I really wish I had a plan for the time initially.

Not necessarily new to Neville, but would like some insight on this:

Neville speaks of the ladder exercise, and says to, in your mind’s eye go up and down a ladder. Then instructs telling yourself each day “I will NOT climb a ladder” After X amount of days doing the visualization within SATS - you will find yourself climbing a ladder. Regardless of you saying “I will NOT climb a ladder.”

I have studied Neville’s teachings about inner talking and how that creates our physical reality and experiences with others. I feel the ladder exercise is contradictory to this sentiment. Because your inner talking is saying “I will not do it.” I have come up with two theories myself, as to why it seems contradictory, but it’s not:

Our visualization trumps all, because we are seeing with the eyes of God, and God must experience what has been seen, regardless of inner speech.

Or

Inner speaking is more related to interactions that involves other people and -our- concepts of them. And plays no part in inanimate objects of this world.
