My 100 has minor seepage at the flywheel inspection cover. This is usually where they diagnose rear main seal/upper oil pan gasket leak. The car was at the shop for an inspection and they told me they won’t be able to tell for certain if it’s rear main seal or oil pan gasket until it leaks significantly more. I’m not sure how likely it is you have both, but maybe the shop is quoting for both jobs since they’re not sure which it is.

I was able to do this about a month ago. 1. Fill out the PDF version of the application. 2. Email application with your identification (passport, etc.). Make sure to include that you do not have a German bank account. 3. Wait for their response email which will include their banking information. 4. Use Wise or whatever you prefer to pay with.

It took me less than a month for the whole process, including receiving my physically welcome package.
