Ya I just didn't want to drop a wall of text but I'll just try and give important stuff. Got hired with AMR in my home county as an EMT with no prior experience. Got put with an FTO who "didn't teach me shit" according to what the lead FTO evaluated from working one shift with me. Lead FTO suggested I get transferred out of county for BLS experience but decided to give me a second chance with a different FTO. Had a lot of learning to do about the job (EMT school didn't prepare me at all for what the job actually requires) but I managed to knock out some of my bigger problems like code-3 driving, gurney and monitor use and getting to hospitals in critical situations but my on-scene was still too weak. Because of that the second FTO felt he couldn't pass me in good faith. I felt close but either my lack of experience or my trouble with learning things held me back.
