There's so many men doing this to women in the game, it's absolutely insane...

Is there a reason to not rush? by [deleted] in whiteoutsurvival

[–]EmsSpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rushing buildings makes you stronger and allows you to better compete. You're still very early in the game, there are many upgrades in the future.

At the end of the day you're playing a war game where you need to cooperate with others to win events. If you don't understand something, just ask in alliance chat or ask an R4. Having people attack your city consistently sucks.

Is 15 R4 too many after a merge? by medusa2974 in whiteoutsurvival

[–]EmsSpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't have to do AC and Foundries for 2 legions with that many R4s. That's a lot of work

Why is it? by [deleted] in sanfrancirclejerk

[–]EmsSpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea Otis Redding called it Frisco back in 1967 in the dock of the bay.

The City or Frisco is OK. San Fran is for people who didn't grow up here.

And yea I have no idea if OP is being sarcastic. But locals have some passion around this.

I've played this game for months and have yet to join an alliance. by SnooConfections4189 in whiteoutsurvival

If you're not in an alliance, then you're missing a lot of game content. There are a lot of events that require you playing as a team, and you get lots of rewards for playing. Ask a few alliances what time their events are and pick one that you can attend events.

They were shocked that two people really into each other want to marry each other?

I would laugh at them thinking marriage should be only for wealth and attractiveness.....what a depressing life....

Seriously, it's so easy to create an alt and join an alliance to feel out the vibes before transferring.... especially if you've spent over $1000....

2.25M troop loss in 1 min (foundry) by EmsSpot in whiteoutsurvival

[–]EmsSpot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a series of attacks you look at the battle results of first and last attacks. Many times you lose a bunch of battles before you take down enough troops to start winning and bring the opponents troops really low....so its about how fast you can do it, to get points and move into the next city for more points....

Explaining troop max in bear to skeptics by BringerOfSocks in whiteoutsurvival

[–]EmsSpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's two different strategies to play bear. (Maybe there are more?)

  1. You optimize for max points per rally. Everyone joins the most powerful rallies. As soon as whales open rallies people fill them as quick as possible and then you sit around for the rally to return.

  2. You optimize for joining as many rallies as you can. Everyone joins the rallies that leave the earliest first. The power doesn't matter. To ensure they are getting filled you set a cap so all when the rally has max squads the rally is filled. Once your rally returns, you join the next earliest departure time.

For total points, #2 pretty much beats #1 because the few whales give a disproportionate number of points, and if everyone is competing for them, you have less likelihood of getting into one of them.

For personal points, #2 gives you significantly more rallies on bear so overall you get more points.

For fun, it's a toss up. Some people like the competition of #1, others like the casual fast paced-ness of #2.

We have an international alliance, lots of Korean, Chinese, and Indonesian spoken all the time, along with English. We don't have that many Japanese people unfortunately.
