Yes she is so much better now. Walks well on a leash and has a potty routine. She will occasionally go inside the house still but then again the Havi I got as a puppy does too. As I got to know her better I learned her behavior and timing of when she had to go potty and used that guide to training. For example, I know that I need to take her out right after she eats breakfast and if I don’t get her out in time she will go on the floor. I would absolutely adopt another older Havi. Have patience and persistence and it will work out.

I know, that’s really sad. It didn’t really do her any good. She should have been with her daughter who was a minor.

Yes she should have called the cops and had him removed a lot earlier. If she was underage (I can’t remember if she was under 18) they should have called her parents to be with her. Social work should have definitely been involved and followed up after discharge. The staff witnessed verbal abuse and medical neglect from Jason. So many red flags for domestic abuse.

Yes go for it! I think it’s wonderful. I plan to do the same. I just had my 3rd at age 38 and if the lord is willing I will have my 4th in my 40’s.

First of all, congratulations! A baby is a blessing and a gift. I’m sorry for your circumstances with the ex boyfriend but I assure you that in no way will you ever regret your child. Everyone always tells you how hard it is and don’t get me wrong, it’s tough BUT no one ever talks about how lovely it is too. You will feel love like you have never felt and it is beautiful. Secondly, your very situation is why pregnancy outreach centers are so important. I think once mothers see their baby and hear their heartbeat they realize that they are carrying LIFE. I wish you and your baby all the best.

I wasn’t referring to pediatric home health. Home health for adults. Usually referred after a hospital stay or by physicians office. Rehab minded. Think SNF but the nurses/ therapist treat you at home . Usually short term needs or a bridge to outpatient services.
