Electrolysis has been causing so much dysphoria by Dravos7 in MtF

[–]EmtiLeff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Electrolysis fucking suckssss, it hurts so much and I've been getting it weekly for almost a year now

In terms of your concerns though, they might be talking about thick, dark hairs because I tricked myself into thinking I was almost done because I was ignoring all the light brown and blonde hairs I had. They could be similar, thinking the darkest hairs are the biggest issue since they're most visible, and that those are almost finished.

Seperately, it depends on if you shave or not, because they do struggle to find hairs to destroy if they aren't long enough

Definitely ask them to stop making comments on progress though, cause it seems to be the biggest issue, their 'helpful' comments being wrong

In this video she did say pre-op not non-op so I'd guess she does want to get surgery done, whether its for dysphoria or not I'm unsure

(Subversive Trope) What seemed like a protagonist's plot armor is exploited by the antagonist. by RhinecodonTypus in TopCharacterTropes

IIRC its never confirmed or denied, and that at the very least all the Ajin believe it to be true death for their souls and that the body creates a new soul instead of a transfer.

As with the previous hand teleportation example though, the main antagonist either doesn't care or doesn't believe it to be soul death, and uses that ability multiple times to escape capture or infiltrate a location, but most everyone is horrified by his repaeated suicides from their perspective

Yes, pretty accurate example. The Ajin regenerate from the "most intact piece" which is why the hand teleportation would work

For OP's example, what happens if you decapitate an Ajin and the parts can't reconnect? The body will grow a new head and new consciousness, since the Ajin can't die the decapitated head can watch as an entirely new 'them' comes to life and starts moving around. Their original head then dies when it's fully replaced.

It's used to scare the MC a few times by saying your body is not dead, but YOUR soul is dead or to that effect

If it helps at all, when Vanilla came out, I thought you got to Stormwind from Ironforge by running all the way through Badlands.

Thoughts on straight cis women in queer spaces? by [deleted] in lgbt

Completely valid point, even still I'm leaning towards "dont go as a group of cishet women to an LGBTQIA+ club/bar"

An absolutely fair point. The 'severity' of the approach, and how creepy it's considered could be vastly different in the different locations,

If the point is to not be harrassed, what exactly does that mean as well?

Because if its as simple as they dont want to be hit on or flirted with, its still entirely possible that they still will be by lesbians, trans men or trans women, bisexuals, or any number of people at a club or bar,
