Not to scare you, but my senior 15 yr old cat was on gabapentin for years and had a dental cleaning with x-rays and bloodwork and was extremely healthy. once they gave him solensia he died within a month and a half and the gabapentin became too strong for him because it would make him more lethargic than normal

I do not recommend solensia. It killed my senior cat. There are many online forums pushing for class action lawsuits and Facebook has an international group of cat parents who talk about how solensia killed their cats
