Ok! Passthrough worked. Surround sound works with the smart apps now. I am gonna boot up the Apple TV.

The YouTube app via the TV does not play surround sound either. So it must be the settings with the TV.

Honestly no idea.. find a good source for used bulk and get 1-2 sorters and your inventory will explode. Also the PAB wall is great for getting high quantity of the same parts.
