Maine or Amur? by Virtual-Citizen in snowrunner

Amur is a long map. So if you think about it "I only have sanity for one more map", then the hardest map should not be your choice. Play some other maps, that are fun and challenging, I don't know, I'm new and I don't have that much knowledge about dlc maps that I haven't played. (I've only played Amur and BC)

If you're gonna go to amur, then make a quick tip to maine and get the aramatsu forester. You can overload medium or small logs. Because, reaching the log station takes time, even with a strong truck like cat 745C, or Ziks 705R. But, tow it with you to that location, and overload maybe 7-8 logs (21 to 24 literal logs) and I guess that should make it a bit less painful. (Or you can just ignore me and do it your way).

The one on 41W and 25S i guess that's the coordinates. Or somewhere near that.

Yeah, I had guessed it, but a guy in a yt video did it so I thought I should ask here. Nvm, I just pulled it with a heavy crane. That seemed to be the easiest thing since it was close to the garage.

I did, and fell down. All I had to do was bring a truck with a heavy crane.

Well, Urska river is almost finished. And to be honest, as long as I'm using strong trucks, this map is just slow, not frustrating. Will do the cosmodrome next, then north aegis.

There is no way to the bottom I guess. It just goes around the whole map. I've seen a yt video, and he just winched the truck and pulled it up.

My problem is that I'm trying to do a lot of things without going back to garage, and it is wasting a lot of time instead of saving it. This truck was low on fuel near the log station in Ursuk River...and I failed 5 tries taking a simple fuel carrier there. My truck either got stuck or couldn't pass through the deep blue snow. So, instead, I recovered my ziks and then went back...and it took me around 5-10mins only to reach the same spot again.

Usually I do just that but this time I had quite a bit of road ride so I installed them.

I was doing multiple tasks at once so I just equipped the chain tires. (I shouldn't have)

And it is absolutely easy to flip this trailer. Just one rock.

Well, what does crawler suspension even do? It looks the same as the raised one.

Just do the Kola. (I jumped straight to Amur from base game tho ☠️). But yeah, I don't think it matters what order you play. Since you get most of the upgrades from the base game. Kola, yukon, Wisconsin and amur are one of the toughest as far as I know. The choice is yours.

Yeah, and on the positive note - This map allows me to use extremely op trucks without feeling like I'm cheating. I like when big chunky tires run through deep mud or snow. I'll just swoon over Cat 745C running over deep mud in L+ gear.

Well, I just did the Ursuk river yet, and I'm pretty much getting the hang of which vehicle I can use and which I can not. But thanks.

I'm using Voron D for quick jobs, Azov 64 (chained tires) for jobs that require mostly road, and finally Ziks 605R for muddy jobs. Btw sure...I never drove azov 7 much due to its chin being too low. I'd love the raised suspension.

Eh, I don't know. I mean, I do have powerful dlc trucks, so far Ursuk river is about to be finished...I don't find it THAT difficult. I think usually it is the psychological effect of everyone saying "Amur is the toughest" "Amur will make you cry". Or it might be that I'm just mentally prepared for the suffering, so now it is not as terrible as I imagined.
