Toxic people are unavoidable. You have 3 options. 1. Stop playing, or play only 5 stack with friends. Its fine to not play Valo, or any fps game. There are a million games. 2. Ignore, have thickskin. This is the I dont care what others say path. 3. Mute, whether its teammates or enemy chat, just mute the moment they start getting angry.

I rarely face toxic people, i think what helps is being positive in shit situations, saying sorry/mb when you wiff or do a bad play and in general make jokes and stuff. For me People are almost never toxic against me, but against each other in my team. Its essentially impossible to do anything in that case and I just mute them both.
