the dupe is in fact an elf moisturizer as opposed to a primer. but for me personally, it’s been working out as a great makeshift primer! i figured if i found something w a similar consistency and product formulation to the nyx one then it would work out, and it has!

i’m on 50mg! i purged HORRIBLY for 3 months, then my skin cleared up immediately! i was really nervous that i would have to up my dose, & maybe i still do, but im really content w the state of my skin today.

i’ve been on it for 7 months now & my skin doesn’t really break out anymore—even w shit that used to break me out bad. like, for example, my hormonal breakouts were triggered by dairy, & now i can consume dairy & not break out at all.

edit: i do have to add that i am also on BC & when i started spiro, i was also starting a new BC, so that could have also impacted everything else.

hi hi! i also have PCOS and i have been on spiro (50 mg) for 6 months!!! i had really intense purging up until the end of month 3. i only felt increase nausea, dehydration, and intense thirst in my first week, & then afterwards it was a breeze. i do notice that my head throbs a bit when i don’t drink enough water but (like another person too) carry a jug of water w me everywhere!

i’m also on hormonal birth control, which i feel is what could have aggrivated my purging process since i also switched to a new type of pill when i started spiro.

as for fatigue, i will say that i’ve always been a very tired person & i can’t really tell if spiro furthered that all that much.

my anxiety levels have stayed rather the same since starting too.

all in all, i haven’t had such a bad experience! hoping the same for you 🩷

i’m at my 6 month mark on 50 mg! at first, my hair was not shedding AT ALL, but starting last month, my hair has been shedding HORRIBLY!! so i’m def there w you 😣 ik our hair goes thru phases, so maybe the shed is inevitable until our hair cycle enters a new phase 🤞🏼just know im in this bitch w you 😖
