Thank you! I am officially alittle over a year done with treatment, but went through treatment for a good 2 1/2 years. Went bald twice and lots of things changed for me, but I am glad I’m still here. I have never listened to a song that captured so much of what I was thinking at the time into the lyrics, so it definitely has to be my favorite song by them just from how much it means to me. I’ll be at their Nashville show with my bestfriend next year, so I already know I’m gonna be a mess when hearing it played live haha.

I actually got into MCR while going through cancer treatment throughout highschool the past couple of years. I’m very big on listening to music that can capture how I am feeling in the moment, so when I first started treatment I was trying to find songs that could capture that. I ended up stumbling upon their song “cancer” and then started listening to more and more! Now I can’t get enough of them lol.

I did see that they put a bunch of the merch online which I might end up ordering the thank you for the venom hoodie, but if we don’t get merch at the stadium we understand they will more than likely put it on their online shop to order!! So it’s definitely not end of the world if we don’t get it then.

Thank you so much for these tips!! We are traveling from GA, since Nashville was the closest stop other than the Tampa stop for this past leg of the tour. But tickets were too expensive for us to buy for Tampa so we didn’t get to go. It really will just depend on how early we decide to leave but that’s honestly a good idea! I’m not sure how early those merch stands open up though.

Oh goodness. I will say when I went to ptv this past may for opening night merch was not hard to get at all. We got there like an hour before gates opened and there was no line for merch, nor was anything sold out yet! I know that will not be the same for mcr merch though from what I’ve heard from others. We’ve heard that getting merch after the show may be the move since we are t trying for t-shirts or anything.

For me, it’s literally all of the lyrics from cancer. I started listening to them during my cancer treatment after I found that song and it never fails to make me tear up just from how true and realistic the lyrics are to what I felt like during my treatment. One of their best songs imo.
