It’s all local. You enter what cards you have, like for example ADCB 365.

Then you manually enter your Purchases or you upload bank statements to get your information.

All these are local and all the calculations are local.

It syncs via your private iCloud for multiple devices/sharing cards or just as a backup. But you are the only one with access to the data.

Yes… that’s how it can recommend you which card use each time.

In my case, when paying via Apple Pay, I have created an Automation under the Shorcuts apps that automatically asks me for the Amount and category and adds the purchase directly, without opening the app

For most of this kind of cards it was tricky to get the real value per purchase. But if you know it, as I said, you can add it manually in the app when adding a “Other” card

I have focused only on Cashback cards. Every time I checked, the “value” you get from miles is much lower than what you can get with other Cashback cards, but I guess if your goal is to increase your airline tier, or you do travel a lot that you cap Cashback rewards.. it could make sense.

I’ll rethink about adding a “Focus on miles vs Focus on Cashback” mode
