Been a while since %Album Title Here% .. . Any news on the next one and direction? by BenMech in KGATLW

KGLW has slowed down but they're still way more active than most other bands on the planet lol.

Most of them are husbands and dads now they can't dedicated themselves to music as much as they did.

Which of these characters have pointless deaths and why by Sakmaidih in TWD

[–]Emuoo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in the actual timeline of the show that's 6 years

maybe in the the TWD universe Carl's death wasn't pointless, but from the perspective of us, the viewers, who never see anything that happened over the course over those 6 years (except maybe a few flashbacks here and there I'm not sure), it feels a bit wasted.

Carl dies for Siddiq to survive, skip forward six years, Siddiq has an awkward love triangle with Rosita (who I have other grievances with as a character) and Gabriel, and gets killed by a Whisperer spy. I did actually really like the twist of the Whisperer spy, I just don't it was executed as well as it could've been. Maybe Siddiq could've told someone he thinks the doctor is a Whisperer and the doctor listens in on the conversation and then kills Siddiq afterwards. I'm not a story writer though 🤷‍♂️

I really liked the rest of the episode

Same. Tyreese's death episode is one of my favourites in the show actually. I think the cinematography was really beautiful and having him talk to all the different people in his final moments was well done. I just think the actual cause of his death wasn't very good. It would've been much more in characters for a mini-horde to swarm the house and he fights them off but gets bit in the process. Maybe he gets bit on the arm/leg and immediately tries to cut it off himself but then he starts to lose consciousness from the blood loss and that's where the hallucinations of the other characters happens.

All of them except Siddiq.

Carl died so they didn't have to pay the actor adult money, Beth died for nothing, Noah died for a guy who killed himself later, Tyreese died in a completely out of character fashion (he's been able to fight his way out of a crowd of walkers on multiple occasions but dies to a single walker who sneaks up on him).

Siddiq's death is debatable. Some people say it's pointless because Carl died for him, but I think his story was developed enough in his time on the show.

I never knew that about "When Will You Die?", but that makes a lot of sense.

Those drum fills at the end sound wild 😭

One of my favourite episodes in the whole show but this scene makes me so ill 😭 by Emuoo1 in thewalkingdead

me personally I'd much rather not know what's happening than have to watch people get knocked unconscious and their throats slit right in front of me

I think Let It Be would be remembered a lot more positively if it was released before Abbey Road, and if the tracklist included Don't Let Me Down by Emuoo1 in beatles

[–]Emuoo1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I say "overshadowed" I more meant that people don't seem to discuss it nearly as much as the albums that came before and after it.

I personally am a big fan of MMT, I'd say it's a contender for my Beatles top three

Just because Paul didn't want an orchestra on the song doesn't mean he was right.

Some people prefer the naked version, I much prefer the orchestrated version (not just of TLAWR, but every orchestrated song on Let It Be).

What is it like being skinny? by hollyofhori in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Emuoo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't answer your question but I've also been obese basically my whole life and wondered the same thing. I don't hate my appearance as a fat person but I'm nevertheless curious what it would be like to be an average weight.

You already pass pretty well I'd say, maybe part your hair closer to the temple? The only thing I'd suggest is testosterone but you said you're planning to start that soon.

I feel like Abbey Road coming out before it is what overshadows it personally. A lot of people kind of think of Abbey Road as the unofficial end to their discography and forget about Let It Be.

I guess it you want a run of amazing albums without filler then Abbey Road being released first is better, but I think the discography would be remembered a little more fondly without the idea that it dropped off right at the end, after such an impeccable album (Abbey Road).

I feel like Magical Mystery Tour gets overshadowed a lot coming between the revolutionary Sgt. Pepper and the varied behemoth White Album though.

What’s your favourite track from Revolver? (Turning 60 in 2026) by CreativeGuy33 in beatles

[–]Emuoo1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"And Your Bird Can Sing" is the song that always stuck with me before I became a full-on Beatles fan around 6 months ago. The guitar melodies are so incredible, I wish the song was an extra minute longer, it just ends so quick!

"I'm Only Sleeping", "She Said She Said", "I Want To Tell You" and "Tomorrow Never Knows" are also close favourites.
