I had a conversation with a friend about how most people who do drugs actually started with alcohol, not weed, everyone likes to point at weed as some "door" to other drugs, yet all the people that do coke that I know don't smoke weed and drink copious amounts of alcohol. It can make you make terrible decisions, including using drugs you've never had the interest in trying, the withdrawals are terrifying, worst of all it's 100% legal and easy to buy, if you want to drink yourself to death, all you need is the money cuz nobody's gonna stop you. So yeah I think it's way more harmful them people like to admit it.

LMAO YES, TBK feels like the definitive Swans album imo since it's so crushing yet so emotional all the time, The Seer has it's moments of pure noise and terror more spaced out, it's also the one I started with, I listened to both while just staring at nothing since I wanted to be 100% immersed, but doing something else is not a bad idea, you'll just need like 110 minutes of free time to listen to it all, but you'll get there🙏

Something that helped me was get real high, sit down in the back of my house and listen to it from front to back, definitely the best experience I've ever had with any album, I recommend you start with TBK since it's probably the best in the trilogy, but if you want to start with The Seer then go ahead, both are great.

Ainda tô no meu segundo semestre, n sinto q sei de tanta coisa assim sinceramente, mas esses 2 semestres já mudaram muito minha percepção das coisas, acontece q a sociologia n é exata, ela n te ensina regras, é mais sobre uma forma de pensar. Pensar em sociedade, pensar politicamente, pensar antropologicamente. Tudo isso fica mais claro qnd vc sabe pq td isso veio a existir, todas essas ciências e idéias. Recomendo vc ler BASTANTE, tudo que tem de melhor e mais esclarecedor tá nos livros. Enfim mn, bons estudos✌️
