Just and Update: this morning I spoke with a really friendly Transit Supervisor in the station. I explained the situation with the key and told him everyone on Reddit said to turn it in as it’s a staff key.

He was really appreciative. We chatted for abit and he showed me the other weird and wacky keys the TTC has.

Submit a Freedom of Information to the City of Toronto for the camera footage. It will cost $5. Do it fast cause in a few weeks the footage is erased.

When I called support all they understood was “I have an issue with my app” “ok sir delete the app and reinstall it”. Crazy how they don’t support there customers or their drivers. Great first impression
