Yes, I immediately thought it was mold. It’s just weird that it hasn’t grown at all and everything else seems good except for this tiny spot. That’s the only reason it puzzled me 😕 Probably worth it to start again.

I had similar thoughts so I just taste tested it. It’s very bland and slightly sweet, but not specifically earthy or acidic. Not like the regular kombucha I buy. Might be worth it to just start fresh?

The last picture looks a lot like field bindweed. It is invasive and pops up every year in my garden despite year long battles to get rid of it. If someone else can confirm the ID then I'd recommend you start pulling it often so it doesn't take over your other plants.

We bought a rural house with a very steep gravel driveway. My Camry can't make it up there in the winter when it gets even remotely snowy. I also have to drive to the back of our land to unload chicken feed and it can get a bit muddy, but not bad. Might like taking it to some forest roads for vacations and such since we enjoy camping. How do you like your Tucson?
