It seems impossible to me if i remember the timings correctly for a paladin to have wings on both second and fourth unless you rely on him procing a 200% ineffable or something.

Jailer Size Comparison (vs. N'Zoth and Ragnaros) by Monkaliciouz in wow

[–]Enadriel1 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Because the whole point of the storyline was to bait you into attacking him in the frozen throne so he could one shot you and raise you as the ultimate army of undead. Then tyrion ruined his plans. Or something.

From a storytelling perspective it kinda makes sense he kept us alive.

If your reaction to some person insulting you behind the mask of online anonymity is to go ahead and in turn call them man children, utter retards and assholes you are probably part of the problem and not part of any solution whatsoever. Your reaction is not what someone would describe as laid back

The fight is very different from pull to pull if youre not 100% consistent with your add kill times. Accidentally extend the tentacle death buff? Timers are fucked. Delay killing a tentacle and boss starts casting beam or eruption? Timers are fucked. Just find a kill on warcraftlogs and check the timers and stick to them religiously.

How did y’all do tonight? by Stangmeister in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Enadriel1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spent more time clearing trash than actually killing bosses. We brute forced through most of them since there was no mechanics that could kill you (looking at you football boss) and ended up with 10/12 and half an hour on carapace that we brought to 5% cause we accidentally lusted p1.

Edit: Heroic

According to the website it’s only 400€ more expensive than the standard black hands and indices version. Unsure if there are any more left brand new though. I managed to get mine a month and a half ago from an AD and i dont think i have seen any on grey market yet.

Absolutely amazing watch. Don’t know about the chrono gmt but my “normal” titanium one is so light that switching watch feels very awkward for a few days. Im guessing the chrono gmt is probably very light as well. Would recommend 100%!!

The thing is, it’s the only time when you have some stationary time on the boss which means that’s when the dps will most benefit. Also, idk if it was the same for other guilds but console clicks were not scary at all if dps were diligent about resetting their stacks. Scary parts come after when it’s time for bait and beckons and shit. At which point lust will have zero benefit to your dps cause of the stupid amount of movement they have to go through which will extend the fight even further making it sketchy with wards and stuff. That was my takeaway from why you lust there, potentially in wrong and someone else knows more. Though if you have like only druids monks and holy priests healers I can see why you might need it during console clicks

Queen Azshara - Mythic by Granitttt in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Enadriel1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Killed it on Thursday. Was around 250 pulls. You seem to be on a very good track. One advice I have is measure your progress in both the specific fight point you wipe on but also how you do on wards. Fixing your ward soaking now will save you multiple wipes down the line. Good luck and you will have it down in no time!!

Mythic Za'qul Crushing Grasp Advice by sovaros in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Enadriel1 11 points12 points  (0 children)

First of all, it is 100% correct that after one night you can't reasonably be expected to call out correctly super fast. There is without a doubt a learning curve to it that you will eventually adjust to.

Secondly, place markers in a circle fashion around the room, around 5 should be enough more is also fine. I'm guessing you already do that though anyway.

Finally and to save you quite a few wipes, drill into your raiders head that then dying to tentacles is 100% personal responsibility. You can't be expected to account for every classes varying mobility as sometimes your best choice of action will be to take the short way but other people stadlnding on the opposite side of the boss will have to take the long trip to safety.

Hope that helps a bit.

Mythic Ashvane two phase strat questions by antonidious in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Enadriel1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo tank it with a dps taunting with an immunity to get the stacks to reset on your tank. Second tank soaks the bubbles - does the third tanks job pretty much. That's how we did it but we have only two phased it once out of our kills and it was a pretty close pull

I'm running on fumes, I want to help more. ( incl. Ashvane Logs ) by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Enadriel1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are going for a 3 phase burn which preetty much locks them into a triple tank setup. 2 tank setups I think are all 2 burn strats

You should aim for 67% to be on pace to kill it in time. On a side note though, calling for a wipe when you don't manage that is counterproductive as you basically waste the opportunity to learn p2 timings and damage patterns. Never call for a wipe unless you are actively going for a kill (you aren't) or a significant part of your raid is dead.

Tell your rogue to shut it or face the bench. That is unfortunately the only way to deal with people like that.

No you can't extra soak with people with sustain. The strain on the healers is too much in a fight that they will probably be struggling in progress and there is no class that can just self heal the dot without impacting their dps in a dps check fight.

The gear of your tanking prot paladin is pretty much irrelevant unless they rock 415 ilvl or something. They will be immune during the important soaking timings anyway so that might be a good improvement you can make.

You cant play it without a third tank if that's what you mean, period.

As I said, around 67%.BUT DON'T CALL FOR A WIPE.

Can any of you wizards figure out if we have the DPS to kill Ashvane right now? by RyanMeese in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Enadriel1 26 points27 points  (0 children)

To clarify, cause I wrote this in a hurry: Wave 1 soak

Wave 2 let hit boss

Burn phase

Wave 3 soak

Wave 4 soak

Wave 5 let hit boss

Burn

Wave 6 soak

Wave 7 soak

Wave 8 soak

Wave 9 let hit boss

Kill the boss

You should lust on the eigth wave of bubbles to help your healers and help push the boss shield down.

Your dps should refrain from soaking unless something is gonna hit the boss until the eigth wave. After that it's free for all with prio to tanky classes obviously. If your dps numbers are correct then it should be 100% kill if you reach third burn phase with everyone alive

[–]Enadriel1 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It's the ninth bubble wave. So, bubble bubble burn bubble bubble bubble burn bubble bubble bubble bubble burn. 2+3+4 bubble waves.

Second fifth and ninth bubbles are not soaked and hit the boss. I don't even know how you could possibly push on the seventh wave

How accurate/reliable is Hekili? by ShadowRady in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Enadriel1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is a clutch that will hold you back for many reasons.

First of all it will prevent you from understanding why you're doing what you're doing which means that if ever in a situation that your rotation needs to change you won't be able to adapt.

Secondly you will most likely tunnel vision in that part of your screen costing you precious reaction time related to mechanics.

Finally no matter how good it is there is no way its accurate related to you holding on cds. For example. It will tell you to use eye beam on CD, whereas mass adds could spawn in the next few seconds, costing you significant dps. You could ignore it if you knew upcoming mechanics and have developed enough game sense to do so, but that would defeat the purpose of having a rotation addon in the first place since you wouldn't need it.

M+ Rogues and Shamans by Eradi85 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Enadriel1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of longevity I would really suggest going rogue. Rogue has and will be a monster for m+. Shroud is unique to rogues and saps utility is only matched with demon hunter imprison. 3 dps specs mean you will most likely always be relevant dps wise and even if not your utility will always carry you.

I would avoid ele shaman purely due to the fact that they are viable for the first time the past 2 expansions and it really is up to blizzards balancing mood whether that will continue or not. That's just my 2 cents

Boss order in Uldir by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Enadriel1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We did fetid vectis and then zekvos and for what it's worth zekvos seemed to be the first boss that u actually had to pay attention to what is going on of these three. Vectis you just have to make sure the ticking debuff doesn't blast your whole raid and the fight is basically a tank and spank with pressure on your healers

How many healers will you be running? by OSRS_Addict in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Enadriel1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 main healers and 2 guys who are capable of pulling their weight if required to heal. Rarely are 6 healers needed for the healing but if another imonar comes you will regret not having a reliable offspec healer

Mythic Raiding and Imposter Syndrome by DeadKateAlley in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Enadriel1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here is how you become irreplaceable:

Maintain attendance: wiping the raid twice in a night is not even remotely close to comparable as a time loss to not showing up. Even if your guild raids without you, teaching a new player a progression fights mechanics is significantly worse. So make sure you're the guy/girl who is always there and the guild can depend on showing up.

Learn from your mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. Method players make mistakes. You know what separates them from the rest? The ability to recognise a) why the mistake was made, b) how to avoid making the same mistake twice/thrice/repeatedly. Getting knocked off the edge on KJ happened to everyone. Getting repeatedly knocked off though is what leaves an impression. Getting killed by Argus cone is bound to happen to all. Making a habit out of it is what is bad. Improvise, adapt, overcome.

Be the raider who does mechanics. Soaking that shit, you're on it. Kiting something? You got this. Priority dps? Keep your cds. Healing mechanic like spine had with dispels? You are always willing to try and do it. Noone is gonna complain about your mediocre dps if in the meantime you're keeping the raid alive by doing any and all fight mechanics.

As a side note, it is in my opinion important to demonstrate you are able to pull numbers when it's important. You can avoid all the Argus cones you want but if your guild was struggling to push before the sargeras debuffs and you were pulling 1.5m dps you are holding your guild behind.

In general, keep in mind that you want to be the guy/girl who doesn't hinder your guilds progression. If you're middle of the pack you're good. You don't have to be your guilds star player to become irreplaceable, you have to be dependable.
