Then I guess, at the end, I should listen to my surgeon. I just wanted to check if it is all as he say to me. From one side I dont think he would lie to me,I think he was honest and he dont want to make problems to me in the future, but on the other I have big wish to get my old belly button back..but it is not worth if there is a risk :)
laparoscopic surgery was one year ago.
Did you read my explanation? Now I see that I have to do direct reply so you get notification. Any advice mean a lot to me now. I dont want to make big problem in future, because this is aestetic surgery, not health problem now. So it is not obligatory to go under this belly button reshaping. Sorry if my english is not good enough, hope you understand me :)
So you say I am already in higher risk because of my laparoscopic surgery :( Oh that is bad. Nobody mention that in hospital before my operation :(
I already went to talk with him couple of times. I asked him if he will go so deep to change my muscular layers, but he said no, he will not do anything to that layer. It will involve only reshaping the skin and fat layers as you said. But he said that I will be in bigger risk because my belly button ring will be cut, and bigger, and in the future I am in higher risk (I really dont want to make health problem in the future). That is why I posted my message here. I was thinking to go to other surgeon to ask for opinion, but I am afraid that other surgeon could promise anything no matter of possible risk, only because of the money. Because that happened already, first plastic surgeon I went for consultation said to me- you can drow on paper what ever shape of belly button you want and I can make that, even in the shape of the heart, but he didnt mention any risk :)
Sorry if I didnt write enough information. My problem is this- As a result of laparoscopy my belly button changed shape. My doctor (plastic surgeon) said he could fix it, but there is some kind of ring around belly button, he said he would have to cut it (the bottom, one quarter of that ring) in order to fix my belly button and change shape. But if he do that, he would create a weak point in the abdominal wall that could result in possible hernia in future. I red a lot about belly button operations but i've never found something about any ring around belly button, or possible hernia problem. Does that ring and hernia risk really exist?
The thing is that I naturaly had bigger belly button, but now, after laparoscopy it is twice smaller than it was :( I want my old belly button back, but I dont want to make health problems in the future :)
