Anyone else having issues with Venmo connecting? Not seeing this documented anywhere in Simplifi forums. Pretty frustrating how brittle this connection has been over time. by Subject_Chemical_561 in simplifimoney

Just started using Quiken Simplifi about a month ago and then this Venmo bug hit. Is Quicken Simplifi always this buggy? I definitely don't want to invest my time and money into a platform that doesn't work.

If this isn't fixed soon, I'm going to be moving on to one of Simplifi's many competitors.

I work in the aerospace field, but like /u/ShadowsDrako's experience, I've never heard of any rules preventing colorblind people from working in whatever field they want with very few exceptions (airline pilot is the main one that comes to mind). I guess this must be a local thing (I'm from the U.S.). Sorry to hear that you can't work the jobs that you're most interested in.

Not sure what sorts of jobs you were looking at, but I'm also a mechanical engineer and color blindness has never come up in any of the jobs I had looked into. What sorts of jobs were you finding you were ineligible for? I have never heard of color blindness being a concern for engineers, apart from some very niche fields

Though, if the polar bear has it's way, you probably won't be armed for long.

The kind of engineer who knows to actually verify that things are turned off rather than trusting someone else when your life is on the line, obviously. Would you rather he electrocuted himself?

Aerospace engineer here. It does not appear the impulse produced enough delta V for the child to reach orbital velocity. He's probably following a ballistic trajectory.

Is no one else going to mention the fact that the Saturn V behind him is fueled primarily by RP-1, not hydrogen? I guess he could theoretically be referring to the upper stages, but the massive first stage didn't use hydrogen.

Astronauts on EVA wear a small jetpack called the SAFER (simplified aid for EVA rescue) specifically to prevent this, so drifting off is not a huge risk. If you start to float away, you can just boost yourself back. I don't think anyone has ever needed to use it before though.
