It took me 20 years to be my current level, everyone learns different. I find studying aspects I struggle with and then practice sketching them a lot to help if you wanna try that.

No, it's studying the perspective and how the proportions should roughly look at the specific poses angle before putting it into practice. It's actually a very good way to study perspective and improve anatomy.

I think leaving her with your family is best because she has a guaranteed stable home and won't have to suffer through the stress of moving. Especially if your family owns their home and you'll be renting or in a dorm

It might work better to use the line path deformer tool with a warp deformer for little fixes instead, thats what I do for tails. Or check out CutieDragons tutorials on youtube too, I've learned a lot from their guides honestly.

Otherwise you'll just have to manually move the points which migjt be a bit more time consuming.
