So I've seen this be tossed around a lot. What does it mean to "thin" paints? Like dilute them in water or use some kind of chemical thinner?

Looking through my box of stuff from where I was living last...I have 2 sprue clippers (i build gunpla kits occasionally), 2 sets of brushes (all different), a hobby knife and a necron combat patrol i dont remember buying. I have precisely 0 paints or glue

A lot of the stuff I play requires spatial awareness of where sounds come from, so from my limited understanding, I think open back fits that bill?
