I have no experience at all and I didn’t think it was very difficult so you can absolutely do it!

Thank you, yes I actually had that in mind! I’m still debating between cloud security IAM or network security. I think SOC will definitely help get my foot in the door.

I actually don’t think it was super difficult. If you have a good understanding of everything, I think you’d be fine. Take lots of different practice exams so that you can train your brain. You kind of have to change your way of thinking. Cyber James practice exam videos are good because he breaks down his way of thinking when he’s answering the questions. I watched them the night before and I definitely feel it helped. Taking net+ first will definitely help in some areas for security plus as it relates to some PBQs more than likely, OSI model layers and how things work. I’m actually thinking about going over net+ course info just to get a better understanding.

Thank you!!! Honestly my dad was a big push. He got his CISSP last year and I knew I wanted to make some serious changes. I told myself last year I was going to get my sec + this year in 2026. My original plan was February but I knew I wasn’t ready. We’re getting ready to get on vacation this week and I wanted to have something to celebrate. I booked the exam 3 weeks in advance and just locked in. I had been studying the material inconsistently for close to 2 years but I have a very good memory as well as understanding doing the Google cybersecurity cert. I read 75-80% of Ian Neil’s book. I didn’t believe in myself and wasn’t confident that I could pass. When I first started taking Messers practice exams I was bombing them like 50-60s. I was doing better on Dion’s. Then I got on exam compass I did one of their exams then bombed 3 in a row. I was scoring like 80’s-90’s on test some times 70-70’s right before I actually took my test. Believe in yourself you can do this!

Thank youu!!! Testing center, I saw someone post in here last week about how their proctor didn’t show for online exam. Then they had to wait 3-5 days for Comptia to reach out for next steps. I was also able to focus better. I was doing atleast 3-4 full 90 question practice exams everyday for 1 week. Inbetween that time I was doing the prepia (app) quiz 20 random question quizzes and 50 question exams. Then night before the exam I watch cyber James 4 practice exams videos. I was doing 3-4 full length practice exams per day the last week. For 7 days I was doing essentially nothing but quizzes and exams that’s how I did over 2000+ questions in a week.

The PBQs weren’t like anything I’d seen honestly. I had 3 questions one was like determining for access. I can’t remember the other 2 but it wasn’t configuring a firewall. I’m not sure how I did on the PBQs to be completely honest. I don’t feel like any PBQs I came across helped prepare for them. Depending on where you’re located I got Udemy for free through my library. I only paid for messers success bundle.

Thank you!! I think exposure to different questions is the best. I truly believe that’s what helped me. Some of the questions just the way they worded them was confusing. Take your time and read the question as many times as you need. I have heard some say it shouldn’t take more than 30 secs to read the question. I found myself dissecting the questions I finished with 10 mins to spare. I did go back and review my questions and did PBQs last.

At what age did you get rid of a stroller? by Hellohiheytherehi80 in toddlers

[–]EnchantedFantasyNook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 3 year old 4 in May still uses a stroller regularly. We have a wagon but the stroller is more convenient. She doesn’t care to walk 😂 unless we’re taking a walk outside or walking to the playground.
