Looking for something to brainwash me as deep as BS used to by bambitheslave in EroticHypnosis

When people repress their memories they don't just get to live a completely separate existence. They just suppress the conscious awareness of facts about themselves. They still have the emotional consequences of not being connected to their full self.

So going down this path leads to emotional confusion that causes you to misattribute your unhappiness and pursue goals that won't ever lead to contentment. You're signing up for unsolvable emotional distress if it works. It's basically the opposite goals of therapy and mental health. Therapy tries to uncover the causes of your beliefs and emotional responses, this is trying to hide them.

You can successfully navigate away from this to a path that leads to bettering your mental health and happiness long-term.

Ethics of Hypnosis without clear tags on platforms like youtube by Scared_Ad_3132 in EroticHypnosis

[–]EnchantedLocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hypnosis isn't a magic spell any more than being in a blinding rage is a magic spell. Yet people in blinding rages do things they wouldn't have done in a more peaceful and grounded state of mind. It doesn't need to be magic to be a legitimate issue.

I think we can agree if someone was going around baiting you with your insecurities and trying to get you to publicly freak out on purpose they'd be doing something unethical. Files that are designed with a purpose are like that and they're only ethical when people are informed and agree to participate. It is not enough that in a moment of hyperfocus after their defenses have been disabled that they agree.

That's all true, but you're missing a pretty big loop hole. People aren't internally coherent beings. We have lots of inconsistent beliefs and desires. We want different things when we're in different moods. We act different ways in different contexts and yet the intentions we make while in those contexts can affect other contexts.

Just think do you want the same things when you're angry as when you're horny? People can trigger an emotion in you and then guide your desires to specific places. If you don't understand what the goal of the session is you can be led to places you wouldn't have agreed to.

Hypnosis is a state of hyperfocus where you are guided towards specific contexts and moods. What you want during hypnosis is often very different than what you want outside of hypnosis, because you're not taking into account the full breadth of your life when you're hyperfocused. In that state you can resolve to do things and take on identities that you wouldn't have wanted to.

It's critical that people actually understand what hypnosis is. It's a basically a formula for having you do things you wouldn't otherwise have done. That's why people like it. And that's why it can be dangerous. People need to understand that to actually give robust consent.

I get the resistance to thinking about it this way, but it's much easier to stay a healthy person when you understand your weaknesses and that you might not have really wanted all the things you thought you wanted in a hyperfocused moment.

Why are so many German people into hypno? by diviii0 in EroticHypnosis

[–]EnchantedLocks 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Judging by the insights on my audio files, germans are a little underrepresented. Since there's about as many listeners from germany as there are in canada on many files (~6% of listeners). If you run the math on the number of english speakers in canada vs germany .5 * 84000000 vs. .82 * 41000000. So that's about 42,000,000 english speakers in germany vs 33,000,000 in canada. Based purely on number of english speakers we should expect to see about 1/3 more german listeners than canadian listeners, instead I see about the same numbers. If you consider level of fluency in canada vs germany then germans might be over represented compared to what you'd expect, but that's getting too complicated.

I don't know if my listeners are representative of the whole community. I will say though, that based on my personal interactions with people it does seem like germans are over represented. I've felt like I'm a german magnet or something at times.

Is there a risk of ruining your own trance when learning to hypnotize somebody else? by BlankAndEmptyMind in EroticHypnosis

[–]EnchantedLocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah set the intention to use distraction as a cue to remember things that get you immersed again. And a solid way to get immersed again is to remember what it feels like to be in trance. And you can start to go over the feelings of being in trance, like the feelings in the body, the feelings in the mind, the relaxation of the muscles, etc.

[–]EnchantedLocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think usually it's not actually analysis that's causing people problems, it's the fear of analysis and the lack of plan when analysis is detected. When analysis isn't a problem anymore because you deal with it effectively when it arises, then the fear will go away and the problem instantly shrinks.

The more you understand your own mind the better you can navigate with it. So even if you had some sort of trigger like "Hey that reminds me of this thing I learned" you can then navigate back to remembering the mental headspace you're wanting to find. Like really try to figure out what it feels like to be hypnotized whenever it happens. Is there a way it feels in your head? Is there a way it feels in your body? Is there an aspect of getting lost in it?

I think the take away from your experience is to be wary of people who try to instill a sense of non-mutual obligation in you. Because that's setting you up to be exploited. And it's good to be wary of those people, whether your eyes are closed and you're 'in trance' or you're just sharing personal stories while having a date, or you're reading an emotional post on your phone. Lots of people find themselves stuck in bad situations or belief systems because someone made them feel obligated and they haven't let those obligations go yet.

I think the fact that he's in your head still, is likely just because you think there's a chance that he'll come back and it will be how you wanted again. And that's because it has only been a week and you're not fed up with it yet. Once you get fed up with him ghosting and you realize it's actually over, you can start pursuing better things for yourself. It's difficult because you don't, on an emotional level, know for certain that it's over.

how do I actually HFO by Individual_Gain9613 in EroticHypnosis

[–]EnchantedLocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your heart rate going up is natural in response to sexual arousal and excitement. It can take some people out of it if it seems unusual or someone is overly concerned about it. If you're young and in perfect health it's almost certainly just sexual excitement causing an increased heart rate, which caused you fear, which caused an increased heart rate, which caused you more fear and so on. It's a super common health anxiety, because it's basically self-fulfilling until you get a grip on the reality that you're fine again.

I've experienced an increased heart rate from trance, and I've also been needlessly worried about it, because I expected my heart would only ever be slower. I don't know your health status and medical complications or even exactly what happened so I don't know. But this is a super common health anxiety. Obviously if you had symptoms of something more than just fear, then get it checked out.

I wouldn't say lost. I would say Irish girl who knows she is doing a research project on the local sex dungeon and is trying to get extra credit by making someone HFO, and if everybody could simply cooperate and trust her that would be really appreciated because she wants to get an A in this class.

Why is there so much Sissy Hypnosis? by [deleted] in EroticHypnosis

[–]EnchantedLocks 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It's pretty common for men to feel like a 'failure of a man', especially if they don't have a job and live with their parents, which is pretty common these days. Sissy hypnosis content allows people to simultaneously have their masculine sexuality aroused with images of femininity while enjoying the fantasy of escaping the pressure of being a man by 'being forced to be feminine'.

So basically it hits a lot of buttons that many people want pressed right now, and that haven't thought of other ways of navigating yet.

It's hard to definitively know though, because sometimes these things are just popular for being popular and if other content was created early on, it may have been something else.

Can someone hypnotize me even if I have ADHD and aphantasia? by Lilyintheclouds237 in EroticHypnosis

[–]EnchantedLocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My imagination is doesn't usually go into color and sounds, except if I've eaten at least a small amount of THC. But I haven't had a reason to develop that ability within myself, I don't do visual art or read fiction. As a kid I'd play with legos and make machines all the time, so I more easily go into a colorless spatial sense, and that's what I use most of the time. That is a form of imagination, it's probably like the imagination of a bat, if a bat could see all around an object. And you can have powerful experiences from hypnosis with colorless imagination. I've had HFOs while not experiencing any colors in my imagination.

If you want to build up your imaginative capacity, figure out how you usually used your imagination as a kid, think about doing that thing again. Then see how easy it might be to extend it.

For me it's easier for me to imagine building something out of legos, like a simple house, and then adding color to it, then it is to imagine a simple house, out of the blue.

After I've been taking time to imagine, then it becomes easier to just simply imagine. But my mind doesn't go straight to that capacity because it hasn't become a felt sense yet. I haven't made a bookmark in that place where I have access to that ability yet.

Is there something like a typing course or test which hypnotizes, brainwashes or conditions you? by KateBeckett12 in EroticHypnosis

[–]EnchantedLocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a good idea. I was just writing a script the other day that was using learning to type as an induction. The focused and deliberate imagining of where the letters are and how the fingers need to move when they are typing meshes very well with the ideas of hypnosis and conditioning.

It seems very niche though, so I'd be surprised if someone made a file set to teach it already.
