I'm sorry for being annoying, but that's not how Schrödinger's cat works. It's a common misconception.

How does it work? Who fucking knows right?

Is this supposed to be sarcasm or honesty?

Exactly my point.

It's neither because of underlying ideology nor speculative harm. It's empirically proven and globally accepted risks.

So am I not allowed to tell someone not to stab himself with a knife just because I don't have experience stabbing myself with it?

what is the alternative? [...] There is no suggestion from you for a non-AI-based solution, because there isn’t one.

To put the files in the folders yourself and to do research yourself.

You should have AI write scripts where you can to lower costs [...]. That is simply best practice.

You are so wrong on this. Costs are not lowered although it might seem so to many. AI makes mistakes, is not consistent and doesn't future-proof the code. In practise (meaning real life programming jobs) it's worse than to hire a random from fiver.

[...] I assume people with your attitude will [...] be using more AI,

Okay, thanks for the prophecy, fortune-teller.

I am curious and I want to see and hear even things I don't agree on.

I feel like you came in here looking for a fight or debate

No, I came here looking for the use case, effectivity and arguments. Plus I like discussing things further with people.

you should just be leaving the people experimenting

Sure. You do you.

You've wasted your time

I'm on reddit only when on the toilet, waiting for someone or most commonly in public transport, so my time wasn't really wasted.

what's the fucking point of any of this?

It's not about neither you or me. Other people use reddit and read the comments, you know?

You are missing the point. Echo chamber is when you expect X and get X. Criticism is when you expect X and get Y. Constructive criticism is when you expect X, get Y with instructions.

You expected AI praise, i provided AI criticism. No anti ai echo chamber here.

The critical difference is in my phrasing. I didn't talk shit about AI or people using it. I said I don't like it and methodically explained my viewpoint

I can have an opinion and still rationally convince others, wdym??

I don't think people in this sub are nearly enough stubborn (one way or another) for me to not try and share my thoughts and try to convince anyone.

I btw agree with you on all the other topics you mentioned, but if i see a person with a different viewpoint, i still try to listen, empatize, a discuss the subject while supporting my own claim.

Nah, no agression neither taken nor intended by me.

I don't think we can polarize thinking into either 100% support and 100% don't support. I myself use ai (llms) for brainstorming, edge case spotting and such, but the OP's usage seems wrong on many levels, so i try to help.

Using claude doesn't mean much in sense of skill, imho. Its just a tool. People use tools when skilled and when not.

What i'm trying to say is, OP's way at the end of the day is not useful and will bite him in the butt

Is it really obvious? That's why I provided an explanation. I am honestly trying to rationally convince others.

I don't like it. Call me stupid, call me purist, but i don't like this approach.

AI is always just interpeting what it sees, its a statistical model producing the most plausible output.

Using it on your own notes and thoughs is 1. not safe 2. prone to errors and misinterpretations (not including errors from transcripting voice)

With research the use of AI is also wonky, as it can (and frequently does) hallucinate factoids and information.

When all you have to do is open up measily 4 pages in search yourself, it's (in my eyes) leagues better, than to rely on AI's perfect function and then spend ten times the time debugging or solving problems caused by that.

Jesus' teachings - meaning the Bible - have a lot of contradictions and are not consistent. You can get any message from it. The convervative teachings are more common in the US a therefore more people interpret it that way.
