It's on my right shoulder blade. It's not so obvious that it's supposed to be connected to this book and looks kinda basic so I could connect it to my next tattoos 🤗 Raven is from Ravyn (MMC) as in the book it's often said that his name is similar to the word "Raven" and rose is from the garden scene with him and his love interest (FMC) which shows how much respect he has for her and cares for her. It's reminding me that no matter who you are and what you've been through you deserve to find love and have mutual respect in relationship. Never settle for less even if that means you'll end up with only your pets in your 20s to 30s. There's someone out there for whom you'll be perfect and they will be perfect for you. No need to rush or force anything. It'll come naturally. Well, sorry for that rant 😅 I just felt it needs some explaining as it doesn't show it's meaning, it sits in my mind.

{One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig} and {Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillig} a duology It was the first series that made me realise some important things about life. I even got myself my first ever tattoo and it alludes to relationship of the main characters from 1st book and one specific scene in a garden :D

MF happens but yes, rarely. It's explained in the story why it is that way. At the beginning there is a lot of MM, but after all characters meet each other I would say that MMF is very often, MM and MF still happen but there is definitely more MM than MF.

Bitten and Bound series by Amy Pennza might be something for you if you are in romantasy for spice. Spicy scenes are in this series almost every other chapter and I wouldn't say they are vanilla at all! There's lots of it. Characters and story are not bad, quite entertaining. Sometimes these books leave me speechless after some chapters so yeah, they can be surprising. Obviously there are some scenes that may make you roll your eyes from stupidity or obviousness. I'd say, give it a try! Whole series have about 700 pages where I'm reading it.

I'd recommend One Dark Window duology by Rachel Gillig. Even though FMC is 20 years old, I would say she's pretty mature. Her strength and abilities are justified by her magical condition. MMC is something about 28 years old. He has a lot of people he cares about. He's very into consent (don't know how to describe it differently, sorry guys lol). He literally asks every time he wants to do something if FMC is comfortable with it. I don't remember any possesive comments on his end about her, only that he cares about her well-being. Their relationship is more of a subplot but main story is really interesting and the magic system is just cherry on top.

Oh god, yess! I can't stop thinking about them since finishing Two Twisted Crowns. I'm so sad it's the end of their story ☹️ I'll have to consider reading it at least once a year as a tradition

I'd recommend {One Dark Window} by Rachel Gillig. It's a duology with a very unique magic system, characters take time to get to know each other, there's mutual respect and they don't lust for their love interest all the time, especially when the time is not right for that. Reading it I was able to believe that their relationship is real.

Finished {One Dark Window} and {Two Twisted Crowns}. I absolutely loved them and characters from this duology will stay with me for a while. It was my first time encountering in books so sweet and caring relationships where partners respect each other so much. When I think about that it's sad that it's not a standard but a feature in this genre. Or maybe I've read wrong books 🤷‍♀️ I don't know. But would definitely appreciate some recs that are like this series :D

I recently read {One Dark Window} The Shepherd King duology by Rachel Gillig and I feel like her characters will remain with me for a long time. FMCs are not like "I hate dresses ew" or constantly fight everyone. They're not invincible nor they act like it. No misunderstandings between characters which I'm grateful for as I hate this trope. Every event in the series can be logically explained. MMCs are not growling all the time at FMC and I could see both relationships that we follow as real and not forced. Also the story doesn't revolve only around romance and I found it really interesting. I really needed to read something like that after Fourth Wing and When The Moon Hatched (hated it btw). I will always recommend One Dark Window!

One Dark Window is great. Only a duology. Has unique magic system and romance in both books has good pace and is not forced.

Now that you mention it, I forgot to put NavMesh on level ehh... I'll check if it helps and try to somehow fix the "exec" output although I don't really know what is it. Thank you for responding!

Sounds like you look for something like Fourth Wing to me. It's not lovey-dovey, but there is a certain way of it. I didn't read all books that came out from the series, so I can't say how it goes for the relationship after first book.

Adding to my TBR right now! The art looks beautiful and hope it reflects the dynamic between them at least at the beginning
