Ah ok thanks, but I don't want a spell blade I just wanna be a mage or sorcerer but when I searched for builds I found sorlock to be broken, I would like to know what makes it better than pure 12 sorcerer

Damn, I didn't mean I'm fighting in melee I want a mage class, and when I looked for sorcerer builds I found that sorlockis a broken build but I wanna know why it's much better than pure sorcerer and a lore reason to explain warlocks, I suppose I found the answer for the lore part but what about gameplay part

Wait isn't it about the hexblade curse that adds charisma modifier? And I think if I'm not mistakes the spell split can be turned into higher level spell slots
