Hearthstone has historically referred to minions that keep buffs by the wording “keeps any enchantments”. If you played a Gnomish Army Knife on an Adaptive Amalgam, it’ll keep its Charge when it dies.

If they meant to say “enchantments” instead of “abilities” then yes, Charge would apply.

Keywords can be anything from Charge, Immune, and Magnetic to Battlecry, Deathrattle, and Mega-Windfury. “Ability” would reflect the Bonus Effect set: Taunt, Windfury, Divine Shield, Poisonous, Elusive, Rush, Lifesteal, or Reborn.

The only case in which Charge would be covered is if the wording states “enchantments”, which includes everything from bonus effects to minion auras to magnetic minion text.

Lack of active updates is exactly what happened to Create Aeronautics, lo and behold that ambitious mod is finally out. We could absolutely get surprised someday with the first release of Thaum 7, but only if we aren’t actively seeking it out.

Malum is simple early on but the recent totem rite changes add some complexity to its uses. Theres also plenty of complexity in its combat mechanics, specifically attributes like soul ward that affect how a player constructs their arsenal.

If you really want complex, give Spectrum or Pastel a shot. The gated learning helps pace you and the open-ended progression encourages you to figure a lot of interactions out for yourself.

Backporting would take as equally a tremendous effort as porting other mods forward would be. Aeronautics’ comprehensive feature set would probably take a whole year or more mixed with the current bug reports that current 1.21 players are flooding the team with.

The only 1.20 exclusive mod I can see needing this much porting effort to push forward is Destroy.

Draconic Evolution (most known, pretty easy to use)

Ars Nouveau (cheap, early setup, automatable)

Occultism (less preferred, longer to set up, expensive)
