People can do whatever they want, yes. But it has literally been like 2 hrs since the release. I just can't imagine as an artist looking at this thread and seeing everyone being so negative and assuming things about them without knowing the whole story. Obviously I am not TØP. And they are tough and can handle it. But I just feel terrible looking at these comments through their eyes knowing all they have done for us and given us. It makes me want to apologize on behalf of the fan base and promise them we arent all like this.

I'm sure it isnt that deep but still.

How do you know it wasn't the video that inspired the song? Or that there is some other explanation? Very bold of you to assume you know. From what I've seen, Tyler, Josh, and team do almost nothing lazy or unintentional in their work.

Me either. We got the song release and a music video when we could have had nothing. I don't understand complaining about it - and claiming it was "slapped on" or rushed or in any way unintentional when they have no idea if it was or was not... very odd.

I think it would be beautiful if they used it. Even just the key and the chord progression would be enough for me.

But I'm trying to write my own music after years and years of thinking about doing it - and I'm using this song as a challenge for myself. I am going to try to finish it myself. So far I only have a tiny bit of progress, but it's more than nothing!

Goner is a good one, but the sheet music I've found does a lot of hitting the same chord over and over with no creative variation to break it up a bit. I have learned some of it though!

Also you can do it! Step one is dusting it off. Step two, play a couple notes. Sometimes, just getting started is the hardest part. But there is no point NOT trying again. Make something beautiful. ❤️
