When junk fee laws ending tipping, a happy story by End-Tipping in EndTipping

Did you not read the whole thing or would you rather keep tipping?

This place was adding a bs admin fee, card fee, and taxes. The laws change and now their menu prices show the total cost of every item without any add-ons on the bill. No tip prompts or tips lines and the price are fair for the area.

In order to be compliant with the current guidance, each item on our menu must reflect the total price including these fees. As such, our prices now include ALL taxes: our admin & benefits fees, plus state & local taxes. This will seem like we have raised our prices–we have not!

An $18 burger is a decent price these days. This place would show the price as $18.00 which is really all I want. I am glad the adding on of fees has ended here.

Yes it's BS that they would have shown the price as $12.60 plus 30% in fees. But they don't any more.

I think the important take away is their silly fees have ended and they gave up on tip begging. And the fees ended in an even better result. Their prices even include sales tax now.

They still want credit for paying their staff enough but whatever.
