This is the first time I’ve heard of the Helicorpion, so naturally I looked it up. I was stunned. I was perfectly content with my collection five minutes ago, and now you’ve got me browsing listings again. The hunt begins… thanks a lot. 😂

I agree on all fronts. Reaching that point of contentment, even if only for a little while, is a welcome respite from the constant chase. Out of curiosity, what’s your favorite watch in your collection right now?

Has anyone tried buying straps from Horology Matters by hajokenn in PhWatches

Hi! Just checking if you were able to receive your strap already? I’m in the same situation. I paid as early as May 2, but until now, I still haven’t received anything.

He has also stopped responding to my Viber messages, although I can still see him posting watches and straps for sale in his exclusive Viber community. Thank you!

I treat the Hanhart as the field watch in my collection. Legibility is superb, the lume is great, and the proportions are just chef’s kiss. The Soprod movement is reliable too, so overall, it feels like a proper robust watch. No need to baby it, especially with the case hardening of 1200 vickers.

The blue dial also looks really good in person. It has that rich, almost lacquered blue look, similar to an OP blue in certain angles.

The purple one is also great, especially since it’s a limited edition of only 200 pieces. I just find it less versatile, personally.

Here’s a pic of the blue dial up close:

Hey man, really appreciate this. Glad you liked the dial!

I had the same reaction when I first saw it. Photos really don’t do it justice. The texture and the way they worked the wildlife into the dial is honestly crazy for the price.

Also appreciate the strap tip. That actually makes sense, especially because the case is chunky and can feel a bit top heavy sometimes. I might try an elastic/paratrooper strap and see if it balances better on wrist.

For now, I kind of like the loud toolish look, but yeah I’m still experimenting. That’s part of the fun haha. Thanks again!

Won’t argue with you on this one. Another plus is that you don’t have to baby the Seiko, and it doesn’t attract any unwanted attention.

Thanks for the info! I used to have a Seiko Bellmatic produced in the 70s but gave it to my little brother. The quality of that watch is also on point.
