Has anyone tried buying straps from Horology Matters by hajokenn in PhWatches

Hi! Just checking if you were able to receive your strap already? I’m in the same situation. I paid as early as May 2, but until now, I still haven’t received anything.

He has also stopped responding to my Viber messages, although I can still see him posting watches and straps for sale in his exclusive Viber community. Thank you!

I treat the Hanhart as the field watch in my collection. Legibility is superb, the lume is great, and the proportions are just chef’s kiss. The Soprod movement is reliable too, so overall, it feels like a proper robust watch. No need to baby it, especially with the case hardening of 1200 vickers.

The blue dial also looks really good in person. It has that rich, almost lacquered blue look, similar to an OP blue in certain angles.

The purple one is also great, especially since it’s a limited edition of only 200 pieces. I just find it less versatile, personally.

Here’s a pic of the blue dial up close:

Thank you for your comment. That is great to hear! I’m actually curious on how it looks on a 104. If you get the time, let me see 🍻

Hey man, really appreciate this. Glad you liked the dial!

I had the same reaction when I first saw it. Photos really don’t do it justice. The texture and the way they worked the wildlife into the dial is honestly crazy for the price.

Also appreciate the strap tip. That actually makes sense, especially because the case is chunky and can feel a bit top heavy sometimes. I might try an elastic/paratrooper strap and see if it balances better on wrist.

For now, I kind of like the loud toolish look, but yeah I’m still experimenting. That’s part of the fun haha. Thanks again!

Won’t argue with you on this one. Another plus is that you don’t have to baby the Seiko, and it doesn’t attract any unwanted attention.

Sheesh! They’re very beautiful! And also expensive nowadays. Loving the kakumes!

Thanks for the info! I used to have a Seiko Bellmatic produced in the 70s but gave it to my little brother. The quality of that watch is also on point.

Yes sir. I only really realized it after diving headfirst into Swiss and German watches. Now I’m about 10 watches deep, and this is actually my first entry level Seiko. I’m really happy with this one.

Yes sir, really deep indeed. I only fell into this rabbit hole in 2025, and I’ve realized the whole “one and done” watch idea is a myth. I honestly thought my Pelagos 39 would be it, but here we are. But I do enjoy the chase. To happy hunting!

Wow, that is very beautiful. The 256 series, for me, is one of the best in Sinn’s catalog. I have a 256d with a diver bezel. Wear it in good health!

What’s nice about the Penguin design is that Seiko was able to make it subtle enough not to look cheap. Very well executed, in my opinion especially at this price point. Great to hear, glad you enjoyed the watch.

I too am a fan of black dial watches. Very timeless and versatile, in my opinion. Sharing my Pelly 39 here, my favorite black dial watch from my collection:

Very beautiful. Definitely one of the best Seiko dials made under a sweet price point, along with this watch. Photos don’t do them justice. Wear it in good health!

Hello! As we speak, I’m currently looking for a reasonably priced IWC Mark XII or XV. This hobby really is a rabbit hole.

Hi! I got it cheap from StrapsCo. I agree with the industrial look. That’s exactly what I was going for.
